Let’s see if you can do a real mud shower system, I hate the foam systems, I’ll use the guru shower system because it goes over your mud system instead of liquid water proofing

@@cbriggo2157 depending on how long the grout has been cracked I wouldn’t say I’ve seen ROTTEN framing but I’ve seen moldy drywall (wall that is in the other side of shower ) I’ve had calls where people say there carpet is wet or flooring is getting damaged from water , the client calls out a plumber they can’t find a leak …once I see the cracked grout I already know it’s from there or pin holes in shower pan

I am getting ready to install the shower pan but I'm worried about my seams not being good since I've never installed this before. Would it be wise to do what you did but give a couple of coats of the hydro ban just in case?

I just got one and used it. It’s awesome! Don’t need a compressor and hose, just an extension cord and go. Very easy to clean too. Only downside is it gets hot. I wouldn’t use it for a whole house, just small jobs.

@@jamesbaumbach3294 yea I use to use a tape and float tray but constantly had to keep refilling it … plus the clips and wedges start getting mixed together and that gets annoying so having 2 separate spaces for each works well especially on the floor !
