Did you wash the bib before stitching on it or after stitching on the bib?
@MakingMelodyCrafts7 ай бұрын
Hi Stefanie! Thanks for commenting. 🙂 I like to wash my fabrics before stitching but in this case I didn't wash it first.

Hard to wrap lights ect when tree up against wall, and probably gets in the way when decorating. Great idea, maybe better after tree is decorated and then pushed back to wall.

Hi, will this punch through acrylic and hard plastic without cracking it? I've been looking into this to use on acrylic and hard plastic phone cases to make diy loopy cases!
@MakingMelodyCrafts Жыл бұрын
Hi Marilena, thanks for your question. It punches through a plastic pill bottle with ease. I think it would crack hard plastic and acrylic though. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

Hi Melody,.Amazing Happy Mail haul. Wow, those took me back to my childhood. The California cards (I was raised in California), those vintage Christmas cards, the S&H green stamps, and everything. Wow!! Oh, I've never heard of blueberry chicken. It sounds interesting. Tfs! Have a blessed rest of your week. Jackie 🥰

Color with Clair did a great layout of colored pencils. I have 10 crystal light containers. I used her swatch system and put the 10 containers into a carry case with handles. Love it. Goes to all the coloring clubs here in the villages fl. Others have decided to do their pencils this way. This is just a suggestion because we all have brains that work differently. Susie

Hi, Thanks for your comment. I haven't seen that video yet. What a great idea to reuse Crystal Light containers to organize colored pencils. It is so convenient to have a portable solution.

I recommend using official copic marker refills to rehydrate the alcohol in your copic. It's possible to buy off-brand alcohol refills, but it could mess up the marker if it's not high quality.
@MakingMelodyCrafts2 жыл бұрын
I appreciate your advice. That makes sense and sounds wise!

I'm not a crafter, but I notice you are left handed. Have you ever had to rethink something you watched someone do right handed to be able to do yourself? Have you ever thought about making a specific left handed oriented video? Have you thought about expanding your patterns by creating angles? Your handy cutter (interesting is right handed while you use left handed scissors) creates 90° angles, so something you might think about is: Take a piece of patterned paper on your cutter, but intentionally leave it angled and not against the top stop edge. Then use the newly cut edge against the stop edge to create a new 90° angle then you have a completely new pattern because it's at an angle compared to the others. If you want to duplicate an angle offset, you can use a binder clip to hold an object that creates the angle you want, and use it again at that same angle with another pattern paper. Important that this angle cut is for only the first cut. To get the 90° angles on a particular piece of paper, the whole top stop edge has to be uninterrupted.

Hi Rich. Yes, I think of how to adapt something that is done by a right handed person all the time. I have never thought of doing a video of that. That's a brilliant idea! I will add that to my upload schedule. And your ideas on the angles to cut paper sounds interesting!

Give me some information about that pen that has ink but seems to be dry, I have some ideas.
@MakingMelodyCrafts2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rich. It is an alcohol marker and it's made in Japan. The brand is Copic. The marker is refillable and the nibs can be removed to add more ink. I would love to hear your ideas!
@richgoebel66502 жыл бұрын
@@MakingMelodyCrafts you answered the question I had. If there is a way to remove the tib and keep the rest of it sealed, you could soak the tib in water and observe the dried ink turning the water into the color. If water doesn't do anything, 50/50 rubbing alcohol or even full 70%. Most things that are alcohol soluble are also water soluble. I think these are designed for continuous use so if after the original seal is broken, they will dry out in time. A perfect scenario would be removing the tip after each use to rinse out, while placing a cap in its place so the ink doesn't dry out. Then I decided to google it. I found a crafter like you who uses them on a one-hour video taking time to experiment with them using 99% alcohol. She mentioned something you might be interested in so I'll just send you the link. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g16UmmugYq6CotU She has comments turned off so I wasn't able to leave a suggestion on how to try to fix the seal on the wide marker.
@MakingMelodyCrafts2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rich, I watched the video that you linked above. That was very helpful. I'm hoping that I don't have to activate and then empty out all that ink, like she did but I think that may be the only way. At least then I can refill it and it will be like new. Thanks again!
@richgoebel66502 жыл бұрын
@@MakingMelodyCrafts that was my idea, being able to have the marker sealed while you soak/reactivate the nibs.
