Thanks, glad you like the guitar! Unfortunately there is no way of widening the chord range, as the guitar is by its nature limited to a certain voice range. And the key switches cannot be moved around sorry!

There is a level control for fret noise in the Calibrate page. If you want to be specific about which fret noise you want, you can disable auto fret noise and manually put them in after you record the guitar (there are many fret noise samples selected via velocity on the two orange keys on the right of the virtual keyboard.

You can do this via MIDI drag and drop then altering the sequence directly in MIDI..sorry not currently possible within the instrument, but is a consideration for a future update, thanks!

Yes!

This is probably because you have certain string-root-chords locked..in the Sequencer page you can see a little lock icon on the chords that you cannot edit..click the icon to change it to a pencil icon, then you can edit. The reason for this is you only really need to edit the sequencer in the lowest (E/6th) string, which will then translate to the higher string chords - if you also edit the higher string chords results can become unpredictable.

It works just fine in Kontakt 8. Please contact Spitfire support with your exact setup - there could be an installation issue in Native Access.

Soft Acoustic is a steel string guitar, different sound and styles of play to Soft Nylon (more in the folky / classical direction). Plus Soft Acoustic has more features eg. Chord/Strum Mode.

Capo sets the open strings differently, which are basically pedal notes you can use at any time no matter what neck position you are in. Sorry for the late reply just seen this!

Hi, there is a known bug being corrected in the next update: if you connect the end of a MIDI loop note to the start of the next (or say loop 1 bar with the midi note stretched to the end of the bar) the loop glitches out..you need to pull back the end of the MIDI note very slightly to create a small gap. Sorry I don't understand your 2nd issue of adding/removing notes..this must be an Ableton issue if you mean MIDI notes? Please contact Spitfire Audio support stating your exact setup and they can hopefully quickly resolve these issues, thanks!

Thanks glad you like the guitar! Spitfire are the official support and are far better at detecting any problem with your specific setup, so I would contact them. What I can say is when you connect the sequence trigger midi note (say if you loop a bar with the midi going all the way to the end) it disrupts the loop..you need to create a small gap between the end of the midi note and start of the following one. This has been corrected in the new update releasing any time now. One other thing might be the use of the 'OnBar' switch shown when you open the Advanced controls panel..when switched off you need to manually place the midi note on a beat. When switched on it will sync the loop for you, but you need to play the midi note BEFORE the beat you want to come in at. Hope that helps, or I'm sure Spitfire can help further, thanks again.

You can tune the lowest string down to a 'D' then play a low 'D' chord..but yes you can play other chords like C# and F# within the normal range of a guitar.

Glad you like the guitar, but sorry you see it as hard to use..for the sequencer you really just need to place a triad and hold a yellow key to trigger a sequence..so it should be quite easy to pick up but with lots of depth and possibilities for customisation..

For slurs up and down simply play a note and overlap another (within 4 semitones) under a certain velocity as controlled by the 'Slur Sensitivity' control. Regarding your problems with the slides, this sounds like a MIDI playback issue you have..if I can suggest contacting Spitfire Support and they will assess your setup etc? Thanks and hope it works out.

Play a note, overlap another note within 4 semitones either way, and if it's under the velocity threshold set by the slur sensitivity slider you will get a hammer on or pull off, cheers.

In Sequencer mode, you just need to hold one of the 4 yellow sequence keys to start a sequence..it plays with an E Major chord by default if no chord is pressed in the purple keys area. If you are having a problem with your keyboard maybe it's another issue, and Spitfire support can help you further, cheers.

This is not a problem I've heard of..if you hold any maj / min triad (with optional extended / sus chords) within 55ms you will get that chord. If you are still having trouble please contact Spitfire support, thanks!

That's great glad you're enjoying the guitar! Yes I think it's possible to do a slide and vibrato using the simulated vibrato set up on the mod wheel by default...hold the Slide key switch while playing the note then the mod wheel on the tail of the note.

When in auto voicing mode you can play 7ths (and of course majors, minors, plus sus2, sus4, maj/min6)..if you want extended chords beyond 7ths you can switch to manual mode and hold any chord you want.
