My friend hated akana and got the whole thing wrong saying that she copied Ai just to be aquas girlfriend but she got it all wrong so I told her the truth but still hate akana

😂 I like all the characters in the show however that doesn't stop me from disliking something they have done. For example: Akane trying to become A. Sure It is strange to me how someone decided that they want to look and act the same way as someone else.

So she was trying to become ai because aqua saved her from Su1C1d3 and she thought that it would just make aqua like her but nobody really knows akane's real emotions she could be imitating somebody the whole time

Yeah you're right. The reason why akane needed to be like Ai it's because Aqua wanted to protect her and ofc it will protect her picture it said in the manga and the anime.
