What makes this crazy difficult for me is that just when I think I have internalised the sequence, the two count tag turn around at the end still catches me off guard. Amazing stuff and a challenge for any musician of any style. I'm glad I found this to work on

Es una variación del ritmo A Caballo de Cuba , o como mi amigo Rolando Salgado lo llama ritmo Sucu Sucu .

yes i think that in San Domingo it is what they call Caballito as opposed to Alomaco (Merengue or Pambiche?)

Hello, do you include (or plan to) oriental percussions, with rhythms in 7, 9 or 11? Thank you

Que clase de pachanga es esa?? Nunca escuché eso porque el timbal hace como bomba puertorriqueña y la conga como acaballo
@bungtempe17 күн бұрын
Técnicamente es caballito, una forma más fluida que alomaco.

whaaaatt??? omg there's an app for everything now. I went to Cuba to study Rumba and a bit of Bata but I could only afford to go there for 2 weeks. This looks like it's definitely worth purchasing. I've been binge watching KZbin lessons for a while but this app looks like something that I can actually productively practice on my own. If the content of this app is as legit as it appears to be, my goal is for the next trip to Cuba for the local Rumberos to treat me like the real deal :)!

Thank you for your comments. This is an ongoing project (seventh year!) and our aim is to provide a comprehensive library of world percussion grooves. We added Flamenco in December. Please take look at the free creative commons licensed book. percussiontutor.com/downloads/

Hope you can see this..I would be great for the next update if there is a timer so we can see how long to practice a loop. If too much work just displaying the clock would be fine. Save us keeping an eye on elapsed time with another device..Fantastic App!!!
