Nice job. I have thor vegas 2021. It is just way to noise inside the cabin.its hard to listen ur pasanger voice. And the onan generator ",it's also way to noise. Impossibly to used at night time. Any coments about this? Thank you

For the noise inside the cabin you need to open up the area above the windshield and fill it with insulation foam, also windshield columns are hollow and can be filled with expanding foam. Also, you can use construction foam to fill in all the gaps under the hood, which transitions into the dashboard's bottom. Tha makes huge difference in sound and insulation as well. For the generator - check the mounts and muffler. Mine is super quiet,

Do you or have your customers had problems with the equipped generator. I have a 2017 axis that the generator has been a thorn on my side since I bought it brand new. If I run the generator while traveling down the road usually I do this to run the roof air conditioner to keep passengers cool in the back I think the extreme heat from outside coupled with bad ventilation results in overheating of my generator. Did you do anything with yours in regards to ventilation or cooling?

@danielkimes8495 I don't have any issues with the generator on my Vegas. However every 100 hours I do oil change and other required maintenance on it.

Hey quick question. So the for house battery voltage how did you run the wires to it.

That one is easy, just connect the meter to any 12vdc positive and negative wires that are behind the panel. It doesn't really matter which ones since voltage is equal across the system. You can use a multimeter to locate/identify those.

very nicely done. Why do you have the separately switch for "outlets and TV" on DC? Why not just run the house batteries and have power for everything when driving? thanks!

Thank. If run EVERYTHING from DC/AC inventor, you will need some pretty big inventor that can run microwave, fridge and AC. I'm not even sure it even exists.

@@VladyslavSvyrydenko ok I'm thinking about when driving so no microwave or AC, just outlets and lights for passengers. When parked I'd only run AC and microwave when plugged into 30A AC or on Generator. Just bought my first motorhome, a 2009 Sunseeker 3120DS Class C so have a lot to learn. thanks!

I use that valve to drain the water from the tank and that's it. Since my particular RV has heated tanks and I do want to rentals quite often I don't want to rise it in traditional way, I simply blow the air through all the plumbing system

I am wondering how you have a downward drop on your vegas hood. my 2021 vegas hood goes up and yours goes down . how did you do that ? jsut turn the hardware around?

`I could talk for a week about the issues `I've had with my Vagas. Drives great! But the construct/workmanship....SUCKS. Plastic shavings/chips in water tank causes water stoppage in filter screen. Generator carburetor needed to be replaced (fuel vanishing) installed shutoff valve. etc.....

I think this was one of the first years they made the Vegas. It would be interesting to compare it to a more recent model to see if some of your issues, e.g. the cabin air filter, have been improved upon in the last ten years. I've never owned an RV, but I'm contemplating a Vegas 24.1 for full time RVing and making a tour of all the National Parks.

If you buy a thor expect to have a thor ass no craftsmanship or quality and definitely know customer service brain dead in Indiana P.S. don't purchase your motorhome from motorhome specialist in Texas they sell lemons and once you drive off that's the end of the customer service you get from them then the coach is your problem thanks Brandon salesman

The keylocks on the outdoor cubbies are added to ensure they don't come open during travel. You should install a folding shelf beside the bathroom sink to add more counterspace. Oh and Thor uses other methods of construction than just staples.....hot glue gun! That's how they fastened the studs behind the dash receiver. Other than that you've done a great job!

Man, you've given me thoughts and months of upgrades to do! I just finished installing a folding shelf beside the bathroom sink on the shower side. There's no counter space in there. And those vent hoses? Great place for a mouse to enter like it happened to us. I installed wire mesh over the ends but LOVE your mod with the K&N filter. I also had a vent hose full of water when I was moving them around. Great job on the mods and thanks for sharing!

Nice videos! I have the exact same model as you. I watched all the other ones on vegas as well. I recently started having issue with water only trickles from the kitchen sink while bathroom sink, shower, and toilet have good water flow... When i turn the water pump on it works normally with bathroom area but with kitchen sink it goes on and off like as if there's blockage. Do you have any idea what it could be? Thanks in advance.
