Cochrane,Stanley, and Brown on that same line vs. the Bruins . The Flyers were loaded with toughness 👊

Tie Domi was a show boat after his fight with Bob Probert. Domi was bounced off his kness while getting bombarded with punches vs Brown in this fight. Domi was beaten like scrambled eggs on burnt toast. Tie wasn't parading around the arena in this one. One sided ass whooping defeat for Domi.

Coxe messed with the wrong guy. Craig took a run at Dave from behind . I wonder what pleasantries were exchanged as the sticks dropped to the ice. Coxies army was looking for a battle. The end result was Coxie was looking like bloody mess. 15 stitches over his right eyeball. Coxe met the real NHL heavyweight champ .

Some of your facts are off 1. He wasn't on Oilers cup team in 1990. He was traded to LA in 1988. He was on Oilers 87 and 88 championships. 2. Stats in 93 playoffs 4-6-10 in 24 games not 11-7-18 3. Wasn't on Canada 1996 world cup of hockey squad 4. Two cups not 3. 5. Wasn't an all star in 1989 or 93, or any year. You did pick decent fight examples of fights. I would have added the 4 punch KO of the Sharks Dody Wood (1992?). The Probert bout in 1994 was the best fight in NHL history, even though he took the L.

Its just counting if he could have been healty his whole karriär then he would have been scoring like 70-110 goals in every season so its just to be counting we say 75 goals in 15 years that about 1200 goals its no cuestion about that he would have been scoring this amount of goals

1980' s Philadelphia flyers were the toughest for the majority of that decade. Behn Wilson, Glen Cochrane, Daryl Stanley, Rick Tocchett, Dave Richter, Jeff Chychrun, Craig Berube, and the best Dave Brown the NHL heavyweight champ 1985 too Jan 9, 1991. Most feared and destructive fighter to drop the gloves . Number 2 all time greatest fighter.

Bob Probert was once interviewed live on television on Michael Landsberg off the record. Michael Landsberg asked Probert who is the toughest guy you ever fought? Probert answered Dave Brown. Bob paused a bit and named Stu Grimson as the runner-up. Michael Landsberg responded " So those guys were really tough" Probert also mentioned that Tie Domi was tough for his size. Michael Landsberg asked Probert? Did you ever feel sorry for a guy you beat? Probert answered Bob McGill, I took him out for beers after the game. Michael Landsberg asked Probert? Who is the toughest guy in the NHL presently? Probert answered George Laraque.

To the uninformed idiots out there Domi was missing every punch he was throwing, and Probert was hitting him left and right. It’s not how you pretend to be. It’s what you are delivering. Probert was a hockey player and a bad ass. Domi was an agitator that occasionally put an effort that made himself look better than what he actually did. His favorite would be to use this low, leverage trip, a guy, and then throw a punch as they were falling to make it look at the end like he won. He didn’t. He was a stain on the sport.

I lived in Los Angeles in the 80s and Tiger Williams was worth the price of a ticket every night. I don't believe any player played the game with more passion. Also one of the biggest personalities to ever play the game.. In Los Angeles he used to get into it with goalies Rooney (Wpg) Mason(Chic) Reddick(Wpg) which would turn into WWE brawls. One of my favorite Tiger games waa when the Flyers just gooned it up all game (In Philly of course ) and going after Jay Wells (a King's legend) running (G) Bob Janezyek and with a minute to go he fixed the Flyers by suckering movie star "Youngblood" Pretty Boy- Peter Zezel.(RIP he was a great guy but he ran the goalie in the 1st period)
