Grapes videos were the BEST!!!! People today don't know that him his video tapes and "Coach's Corner" were the TSN, ESPN, NHL Network..... except he knew what he was talking about. He'd seen and done it.😉

That was magic when I watched them play against Colorado avalanche. When these 5 guys came out on the shift I knew they will score and Bowman knew it too😂 these guys connected as if they were part of a single body and mind with their flow like they were passing to themselves or the same cloned instance

I think the greatest goalie in NHL history, Martin Brodeur, said the best thing to define Lemieux: He's like a man playing with boys... To me, he is the greatest athlete of all time. Period !

What I saw was poosie shiit. Gets people down and keeps punching them when they’re on the ground and punching them when the refs holding them. What a tough guy

What are you even talking about? Magnuson sucker punched Orr, they went to the ground and Magnuson got rocked. All of the other clips they both were grabbed by refs.

I've enjoyed hockey since the early 60's. Yes, the Dead Wings era. The Russian 5 was a serious asset. They could communicate with each other and the othe team didn't know what they were planning. Awesome!

I fought him 3 times growing up. Twice in native provincials and once in juniors. The only guy that I’ve ever played against that scared the shit outta me. I heard footsteps when he dumped the puck in my corner. I’ve been trying to find a fight all night where he’s not a head shorter than his opponent. The high skill guys are way more effective when a dman like me is gripping his stick so tight that he’s making unforced errors. If I was coaching in the show while he was playing, I would’ve put him on a top line with my highest skilled guys. Imagine him on a line with messier and graves… it makes the legion of doom seem like a Dorito dusted paintball squad.

To reiterate… he was fucking terrifying. And I was a head taller. First fight, tie. Second one he dummied me. Third time i didn’t give him a chance to set up… because I didn’t want him to tie up both my arms and knock me out again. If Boumester had 1/10 the intensity of Tootoo, he would’ve been a first ballot hall of famer. Too personifies willing yourself into a long NHL career. Nothing but respect. But just make sure he’s not waiting under your bed…

The Leafs should have taken his junior teammate Bryan Trottier instead of Tiger in the 1974 draft. Who knows maybe the Leafs would have gone on a Cup run instead of the Islanders.

It is my contention that he is the greatest player of all time during his peak years. He literally played defense for half a season and was great at that as well.

those 5 proved that the russians were a true force to be reckoned with. The Red Army teams of the 70's and 80's were probably the best team assembled. Yes our boys beat them but as a team they were truly an amazing squad.
