I think this a sign for me to cut my hair because ever since school started I've been putting my hair in tight buns because my hair gets so frizzy so fast and I just want to look neat

4:12 this is what is happening to my hair! I avoid heat, I do have chemicals in my hair due to me having to dye my hair, but I had no idea that there was so much damage, and I have literally been putting my hair up in a bun for as long as I can remember. I will never do this again, and to be honest, in the last couple of days while I have been challenging myself, I’ve noticed already that they are starting to come back. Keen to see what they look like in the Longrun, :-)

Okay I put my hair in buns all the time and im experiencing hair loss (I’ll just get the different oils to grow it back or something) should I just flat iron it instead? Its puffy has split ends, the whole nine does flat ironing it just give me the chance to get it back to the way it was? I cant even brush it out without hair coming out

Thank you so much I had no idea this could happen from putting hair in a bun I’ve had a lot of shedding and a lot of thinning on top and it’s been very suddenly over the last like 6 to 8 months and I wear my hair in a bun pretty much every day because it’s hot in Florida has humid weather and I just do it for convenience to stay cool

Do you think you’d ever do a video (or maybe you can just share your expertise with me in the thread) about curl pattern breaks, specifically why I might see a lot of box curls in my pattern? My curls won’t full curl in some spots, instead of forming a full curl mud pattern it turns into a square incomplete curl shape. I would greatly appreciate your advice!

I'm a wavy and I go to curl salon. I disagree with you that wavies shouldn't get curly cuts. I'll never go back to a salon that only knows how to cut straight hair.

What products do you recommend?

I'm more interested in the diffuser attachment and while the Curlsmith one seems really wide, is it actually deeper than the Dyson's? I have long hair and do need a deeper "bowl" to not squish my hair. For that matter, how wide is the opening? Can other diffusers be used with it?
