If a beaver's paw is no larger than any animal the same size why is it necessary to use a trap big enough to catch animals 5 times larger. And, don't give me that shit about how strong a beaver is because I know trap size has little to do with its holding power!! It's all about the money, and if your gullible enough to fall for the hype they'll keep making them bigger, shinier, heaver. Fifty years ago I trapped everything in the Adirondacks with number twos and I realized back then trapping beaver wasn't feasible mainly because you had to go to the beaver. Other critters came to your sets. Then there's pelt preparation?? Bottom line: Traps don't make a man a trapper!!

Who would even want to kill poor little moles? More enlightened countries have them as protected species.

Usually instant. They have a weak heart and the shock kills them

Overkill. A piece of string and a handful of feed are all you need.

trapping pigeons is a stupid solution. why humans allways think they are god. the best way to get the pigeons population under control is to work with tipsier in large dovecots.

Gloves are not only useful to keep your hands clean, but to keep the "human scent" off the traps. Moles have a good sense of smell. AND for those that think it is inhumane to kill moles probably haven't had their yard destroyed by moles. Some can tunnel 18 feet in an hour, so it doesn't take long for 2 moles to destroy a small yard. You can catch moles alive with a shovel, but it requires standing very still for hours watching the tunnels to find where they are.

So far, these traps have worked perfectly. A couple of springs ago and TODAY. (Had no moles last 2 years.) Easy to use and has worked every time. No traps have ever missed. I pretty much use them as in this vid, except I use a piece of card board covered in a thin layer of dirt. This makes it much easier and less messy to check them. This IS the video I watched a few years ago that convinced me to try these. THANKS! Great traps.

Whatever happened to the old trusty 22 long rifle? You can trap all the pigeons you want, but what are you going to do with them? You let them go in a different town and they'll just return. You have to kill them, it's the only way to solve your problem. No plastic owl, no netting, no recorded Falcon sounds. A good old "BULLET IN THE HEAD" to quote Zack, is the only answer...Good Luck!

I like then, caught my first mole, the key is ensuring they travel in the tunnel where you set it, punch a 1" hole in various tunnels and flag the spot come back and to see if the hole has been filled in. Once you find an active tunnel set your taps and wait, I would get several of these traps to cover many spots. Nice thing about these are you won't run over them with the lawn mower.

I recently incorporated the No-Mole traps into my business. The reason I tried the traps is because I use victor mole traps which are great in moist soil conditions and are very effective in those conditions but have a harder time to set in dryer soil conditions. The No-Moles traps work very well in dry soil conditions and in any soil conditions. The only I don’t like about them is the fact they take much longer to set up and check than victor mole traps but they do there purpose.

@Ambriosa007 this is not a good design at all.i have been a welder fabricator for about six years now and can tell you that he mechanics of this device is not very good. the double loop traps are a great design and they work great. just follow the directions and you will see for your self.
