Make sure you're using a good holding spray; don't get it wet; if you take steaming hot showers, maybe cool them down, or wear hair protection and straighten your hair.

@@Tajiashamari i used two different types of hair from two different companies. I used Sensational X-Pression hair for a part of my hair that was blonde and it worked like a dream. It gave me absolutely no issues and had i done my whole head in it then likely it would have taken one in a half or two. The hair that gave me issues was one called Ubeleco Prestretched Braiding hair. I found it off of Amazon. It cane already 48 inches which i loved but tangled so much the first day i used it. I eventually learned how to reduce tangling but it was still so bad. Definitely not buying from them again, but i will trying using oil sheen on the remaining hair i have from it to see if it helps. Also: my hair usually lasts like 3 weeks but this one took me so long to do i made sure it was gonna last me two months. I still got it in now but ill take it down after the 4th. In a way the hair helped me commit to a style.
