Alles Gute.

Ntsikana was not a "christian prophet" whatever that means. He was a fierce Xhosa nationalist. His movement was more of a resistance to Christianity and colonialism than we are made to believe. It's a pity that when he died, his legacy was hijacked by amaGqoboka and turned into what it is now.

I really love gamelan, mongolian throat singing, ethiopian and west african music, the baka pygmies of cameroons unique water drumming, russian, armenian, georgian, kurdish, assyrian and pontic greek music. bulgarian , jewish and arabic music, japanese gagaku, indian carnatic traditions especially konnakol, native american music, chinese music, nordic germanic music traditions like swedish folk music. estonian music also seems very interessting (check out "curse upon iron") ... and a lot more. BUT Tango seems pretty boring to me haha

Did dutch descendants take dutch words bcoz dutch came in s.a in 1652, xhosas took not clicks from khois but the language itself bcoz khois was also ancestors of xhosas u cant borrow 3000+ words in somebody else's language even use khoi language to name ur royal house like NQADU, Mngqeshe u name ur kings using khoi words like Hintsa, Ngqika, Sarhili, Nxele, Rharhabe etc

Can someone see why black south Africans are being exploited by the oppressors? This guy just said when we sing our traditional songs we dont know the meaning or even where and how the songs we sing originated. Well, thats what he thinks.
