How does this work if your brain is compartmentalized? Is it that you have constant communication internally- or did you literally change the structure of your brain (which feels unlikely)? And I meant this respectfully! I’m genuinely curious because it’s a very hopeful message.

This is a great question! The compartmentalization that happens is different for everyone. Some people with D.I.D. may have the ability to communicate with their alters internally but I did not. The best way I can explain the aspect of compartmentalization is this: “normal and healthy” minds are a bowl full of marbles. A mind with D.I.D. separated all the marbles and put them into their own bowls. Here’s a good quote I found from a medical journal… “A child who experiences ongoing sexual abuse can think, “It’s too overwhelming to feel such fear. It’s too dangerous to feel such anger. It’s too real to know what is happening to my body. That’s not me. That’s someone else.” By doing this, adds Kaufman, “They displace overwhelming thoughts, feelings, and memories onto different, personified aspects of self and separate from their painful circumstances. This ‘not me’ experience is the cornerstone of DID.” As far as brain structure, MRI scans have shown that those with D.I.D. have smaller brain volume in the hippocampus and the amygdala.

This was a fabulous interview -- the honest assessment of the spiritual communities viewers like 'us' inhabit was incredibly refreshing and eye-opening. Thank you both so very much. I went to Talia's website afterward (am already familiar with Charley's work). How to say this ... Talia, I think your website does not do you justice. In my view, it doesn't capture how much you have to offer. Maybe it's time for an upgrade? From this interview I sense a greater refinement and hope that you are able to communicate that more clearly as you further develop your online presence. I wish you both all the best and appreciate how the 'authenticity' of which you both spoke was manifested by this straight-shooting conversation

When he says a monk sometimes shouldn’t be a monk and needs to be householder. How can something be other than it is? Pls help.
@Truthhasnosides2 ай бұрын
that is the contradiction of this existence and why the most enlightened of individuals can speak out of both sides of their mouths, or so it seems to the common man. A great teacher once said, "a man can only judge another man by his level of consciousness". Our minds want this or that, right or wrong, one or the other when sometimes it is both. Someone running away from the householder life to be a monk and forcing the issue to ignore his problems and his dharma in this one incarnation, creates a whole lot more they will have to deal with in another life. So, to your point, this example is the individual is a monk but will need to come back in another life and burn off his house holder duties.

This shi is hardcore I’ll tell you that .. but where will any of this lead you to destinily? Because speaking about this is an experience, so you cannot really escape the experiences, when you unite with the all after this period of experience on “earth”, you’ll just go into experiencing another dimension of consciousness or another dimension of experience
@jdykz4 ай бұрын
But what a great ride!
@Truthhasnosides4 ай бұрын
it will lead you "destinily" to the same place as experiencing another dimension of consciousness and or "uniting" with the all. As you said, it's all about the "experience", what else is there but "experience".
@drippyboyfreshpharaoh65684 ай бұрын
But that’s not really what you said in the video, you said that the goal is to eradicate experience somehow, forgetting about the “flashy stuff” which would be impossible
@Truthhasnosides4 ай бұрын
In this video and with David, he’s speaking about truth and enlightenment, going past experience and going past the mind into the absolute. The goal will be different for different people. in your first comment you spoke about experience so I answered you at that understanding. Truth and enlightenment will lead you nowhere the mind can experience. @@drippyboyfreshpharaoh6568

Genesis 1:1 - _In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth._ Psalm 19:1 - _The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork._ Psalm 14:1 - _The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good._ It is pretty obvious, God, the Creator, exists.

How other people think they have one figured out for the creation of content. It becomes weird when you've made a whole movie and you find out what you thought and made is incorrect. All that waste, you all have too much to waste. It's sad how they sent you on a wild goose chase only to avoid the real terror that lives with you.
