Jesus said that no one can come to Him if the Father who send Him draws Him. He repeats it again in John 6 were Jesus said that no one can come to Him unless the Father permits or allows it. Jesus also said that it's the Spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no use. All the teaching of Jesus Christ. Why do these heretics ignore the teaching of Christ?
@TheKeesBoerMinistryChannel9 сағат бұрын
Hi, Thank you for your comments. I really sincerely appreciate them. Yes, Jesus did say that in John 6. Obviously It is true. The questions there are: "Who gets drawn by God?" "What does it mean to be drawn by God?" So, yes, the Spirit regenerates... "When does that happen?" I got several other videos on that. So, obviously I'm not ignoring that, but those issues are clearly addressed in the Scriptures. Here is a video of about five minutes about being drawn by God. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJjQgqNre8aCpac

I've read it in many, many books, so I figured they were right. But I just googled it and found the list of the 613 Commandments. www.jewfaq.org/613_commandments Of course that is a list from Judaism. How would you suggest that I would check that out? Count them myself? I'm not sure what reason they would have for changing that number. But your post really intrigues me!

@TheKeesBoerMinistryChannel This is where your eisegesis and learnt by rot theology, play a role is your reading of Scripture. I read the Scriptures fine in Hebrew thank you and NO Where does it state for Jewish males. This is a figment of YOUR imagination. This is what is STATES very Clearly in Hebrew: דּבּר אל־בּני ישראל ואמרת אלהם ועשוּ להם ציצת על־כּנפי בגדיהם לדרתם ונתנוּ על־ציצת הכּנף פּתיל תּכלת. It clearly states the Children of Israel, and the children of Israel it is speaking of are the 12 Tribes of Israel, not the one tribe Yehudah / Judah / Jews. There are 12 Tribes of Ya'akov whose name was changed to Israel, but not all of them are Israel as Scripture clearly states. The Northern 10 Tribes are Israel whom were scattered amongst the goyim / nations, the 2 Southern tribes who lived in Yerushalayim are called Yehudah and consists of the tribe of Judah and the tribe of Benyamin or Benjamin. YHWH is clearly speaking to ALL tribes of Israel and Not just Judah / Jews. If you study Scripture, you will find that the 10 Northern tribes were scattered and assimilated into the nations. YHWH states clearly that only He knows who they are but they will return and the two sticks will become One again. But that has not happened yet.

I believe the Bible teaches God gives us the faith so we can obey without violating our will. I believe in Reformed Theology because Paul and Luke and others speak from God and teach it clearly. Acts 13:38 "As many as were appointed to eternal life believed". My dear brother and friend, is it possible that you don't understand Calvinism? When explaining a belief system that we don’t agree with It’s best to describe it in a way that they would. Is your description in the video as a true Calvinist would describe their belief?
@TheKeesBoerMinistryChannel2 күн бұрын
Hi, Dave, thank you so much for your comment. The appointment to eternal life is based on the foreknowledge of God. God knew before who would get eternal life. And so, obviously, they would believe. But it was not a surprise to God. How did you come to the conclusion that God gives the faith? I grew up in the Reformed Church and went to the biggest Calvinist School in Holland. We also had to memorize the entire Heidelberg Cathechism and then I spoke with hundreds of Calvinists. And of course, I was born 10 minutes from where they made those TULIP rules. I do really agree that I should represent Calvinism as they would represent Calvinism. It's a bit more difficult, because, there are so many types of Calvinists. I basically base my definition on the five points of calvinism, i.e. TULIP., or the articles of faith from Dordrecht. You would be totally different than most of the Dutch Calvinists that I know. I even met a Calvinist one time, who claimed to be a 3 1/2 point Calvinist.... I was in a rush, so I don't know which point was just the 1/2 point.... But I certainly don't want to make a strawman argument. I certainly agree with that. What particular thing did I misrepresent?

This was interesting. May I please make one suggestion for an edit, sir? The letter "J" was not created until 1524. When it was created by an Italian man, it carried the sound of an "I" (ee) . There is no J in Hebrew either. Where you have a "J" in God's Name there should be a "Y", representing the Hebrew letter "Yod". So God's Name in tetragrammaton form is YHWH (Yod - Hey - Waw- Hey) Pronounced closer to eey-ah-oo-ah... Or, with more of a flowing sound, Yahuah. Thank you. And yes, to agree with other commenters, the color blue as a requirement should be stressed. Blue is often associated with God's commandments, the stone tablets, etc. And this command was for all of Israel and anyone who sojourned with them. The same is true today. Those who would walk in the commandments of Yahuah need the visual reminder. I really appreciated your dive into the "wings" of the garment. Excellent work!
@TheKeesBoerMinistryChannel3 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for your very gentle and kind words! You're actually right. It is Yod, not J. The video is up there for over 2 years and it's hard to edit it out. So, I made the correction in the description. I really appreciate your correction. That's how we learn.

@TheKeesBoerMinistryChannel3 күн бұрын
Actually, the alternative to calvinism isn't arminianism. I'm neither. I grew up in the midst of all of this. I was born 10 minutes away from where they made those TULIP rules. I went to the biggest best known Reformed School in Holland. I memorized the Heidelberg cathechism.... I'm not an arminianist, nor a calvinist. I believe the Bible. And It doesn't teach either one of these. I don't remember actually ever meeting an arminiast. And I've been to Oudewater, where Jacobus Arminius was born.... Oh, and I grew up in the Dutch Reformed church.... We left it, when it joined the world counsel of churches.... (very ecumenical).

Relationship question Should we help people who never help us when we ask? Should we value ( Give importance)people who never give value to us ? Should we do the task or Work they expect but they never consider our expectations? Should we give money to someone who never give to us when we need? Pastor..
@TheKeesBoerMinistryChannel5 күн бұрын
There is a lot of issues there. First of all, we never want to help someone do something that would not please the Lord. (II Chron. 19:2) Then we should help people, when it is in within our priorities to do so. Like I Timothy 5. We first need to take care of our families. It would not be right to give a charity money, when our own family doesn't have enough. And you want to help people, when you thoroughly understand the situatlon enough, or someone, you trust trusts understands the situation. It gets complicated at times. We deal with this here all the time. But that would apply to any helping. Even people, who might be very grateful and give when we are in need. So, yes, if we can, it would be good to help people, who could never "repay" us. Otherwise, we would not be giving, but we would be investing.

Kees, I 100% agree. Those are great examples too. Also, in the United States, we must ACT while we still can. Even Founding Father John Hancock expressed this sentiment: "I urge you, by all that is dear, by all that is honorable, by all that is sacred, not only that you pray, but also that you act." A primary way of by voting which requires a an accurate knowledge of the candidates and issues. Sadly, this may be where many church-goers are negligent.
@TheKeesBoerMinistryChannel8 күн бұрын
If someone doesn't pray for their leaders, they probably aren't aware of the issues of the candidates. And probably won't really do much either. Most church-goers aren't praying, sharing the Gospel, memorizing God's Word, or trying to build up their fellow believers. So, then it will be very difficult to discern how to vote...

And 1 Timothy 2:1-4 says not only to pray but God wants all people (all Rulers and all Kings) to be Saved and know the truth. So God wants all Rulers to be born again and godly and promoting Justice in society (Jeremiah 22) since in many nations the People are the sovereign kings like in the USA and Philippines. So God ordained and appointed you (people and believers) to do His job of making sure the temporary Rulers are doing God's will of punishing evil criminals and evildoers, and promoting Justice, so the gospel can be preached freely.

Bible College or Bible study only give intellectual information to what we believe and behave but Experience knowledge comes from application of intellectual knowledge we learnt ( Intellectual knowledge) from Bible College. Am I correct? Kees .
@TheKeesBoerMinistryChannel19 күн бұрын
Yes, you grow as you apply God's Word. If one doesn't apply God's Word according to James, one gets deceived. Having said that. One of the highest forms of worship is the study of God's Word. I believe that to study God's Word will cause one to change. Remember Deut. 6:6 tells us to store God's Word into our hearts. The Hebrew Word for hearts is LEVAV, Which means your thoughts. The purpose of Bible College is to put oneself under a discipline to study God's Word. That is a Biblical thing. We do this with all sorts of disciplines. Another benefit, which is not as big to me is to get certain credentials, which will help with certain mission organizations, or certain churches. But if someone is very self disciplined, they can learn all of this outside a Bible College too. And remember that during the time of Christ, the children up to 12 years old would memorize in the Synagogue, the entire Torah.

Thank you so much, I didn't see a double post. All of these verses are from a translation.... I believe it's a mistranslation. When one translates, things get lost. Especially when a translator bases his translation, not on the language, but on a catholic teaching in the Latin Vulgate. Obviously, God did not have to turn from sin. Genesis 6:6.... Now watch this short video and you'll see how that word "METANOIA" was used in the Greek, which most of those verses in that video came from. That's the real issue. What does the Greek and Hebrew say.... Not what does the English say a word means. Here is the video. You can see how METANOIA could not mean to "turn from sin." There are some very clear Greek examples there. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZqmnKx9gJiZptk

Wow, this is a great post. I love it. One Passage that makes that very clear is found in Ephesians 1:13,14. There It talks about how on the moment that we believe that we were given the Holy Spirit as a guarantee that we have eternal life. Otherwise we could never have eternal security, because we might die in a moment of unbelief or maybe panic.... I could imagine someone, who gets in a bad car accident and lives for 10 minutes that that person might have a lot of panic and pain.... and might be thinking who knows what....
