Cool thing about the backside is all those backside trails were illegal builds. So instead of ruining them they opened the other chairlift instead

Did you cut your hair because it's getting caught in your seat post? 😄 I think you should change just the whole bike, ditch the dopey derailleur, get a Cavalerie Anakin instead. We all should. 🤙

Love the setup, thanks for sharing. I ride a Remedy similar set minus the MX wheel. I also have the AXS and same here - super noisy. I added STFU … bike is now much much more quiet! Love it. I would recommend

"I run the levers pretty far". Unfortunately I don't ride mountains as much as i can ;( but changing levers position to the closest to the bars made a 1000% help for my wrists. Why Fuel and not Remedy?
@jamesbtrials

Remedy was discontinued a few years ago. It might make a comeback but as of late it’s been slash and fuel ex as the 2 trail/enduro bikes from trek. I’ll try running the levers close!

Always amazed at the pressures other people can get away with. I run shocks at their max pressure plus volume spacers and mostly locked out, and minimum 35 psi in the tires. Still bottom out the rims and shocks on every ride (am 70 lbs heavier). Also brake levers (one finger maguras) even farther inboard for the same reason.

Really nice setup. I run codes on my trail bike find the feel really nice but could not get on with them for trials, used to make my forearms burn with the feel, the power of the mavern’s interests me but I’ve heard a few reviews that say they fatigue the hands quite a bit on rides.

Charlie Murray prefers the lyrik over the zeb, says it's more compliant, you could try a vorsprung secus or coil conversation in the fork to get even more sensitivity, that, a 31.8 bar and stronger brakes (220 rotor?) might help you wrists. I'm a similar weight to you and use to run RSCs, just upgraded to hope tech 4 v4s and they're much more powerful with 200 rotors

Found an old line that I never had the skill or balls to do at Trenton High. As soon as the clip started "ahh yeah James gonna get it for me". 🤙 Nice one bud. 👊
@heinousanus9352
@heinousanus9352 2 ай бұрын
That black bike is so comically stupid, it doesn't matter if bud can open portals to new dimensions or switch off gravity with it. No seat, forearm length stem bikes are just too stupid to matter & that one's the worst I've seen. Trials is hard, but the hardest thing is getting respect riding a goofy rig like that. 🤣

I've finally gotten around to going through all of your vids starting with the oldest & I just watched your Under Cooked - Tricks in the Wind one which answered my questions about whether you've ever been to the Trenton park or Bata. I'm curious why you like the Belleville park better, I've always thought Trenton was way better, especially for bigger bikes (my thumbnail's from there). I thought I'd comment just because you didn't bother with the trails on Bata's north side. That's where the "good" ones are. Bootlegger is new since that vid was made & by far the best run. Also if you haven't been to the Bayside quarry behind BSS there might be some natty lines in there for you. I commented here rather than that vid because I thought it'd be more likely that you'd see it. You're the most underrated rider on Earth. My best guess is that DMac, Fabio etc. blew up because bikes are just bigger in Europe since Europeans are so much smarter than Americans. 🤷‍♂ Keep it up. I'm really looking forward to your newer trail stuff because you're covering so many places I wanna go.🤙

Thanks! I love both parks, but belleville is a bit closer to me, and I made some friends there so it just has lots of good memories. I should check out Bootlegger! Bayside quarry looks promising on google maps. It's now on the list :) Thanks for the tips and I'm glad you're enjoying my older videos!
