I know the pen this year is getting a lot of hate but I think it's cute and vibrant and it does look like Paddington. The blue aletonne is what i grabbed for my through the purple night weeks. Its a bit too large though 🤷

Yes!! I can’t believe not more people pointed that out - how the pen is literally Paddington color haha. Hopefully it’ll start filling out nicely once your Weeks start fluffing up~ The cat cover was an unexpectedly good decision 😆

Ok so I had to subscribe. I love the way your brain thinks. I laughed out loud when you mentioned the blue Alettone cover was Paddington’s raincoat - I totally could visualise this as I would think that too. I went for the Yumi Kitagishi as the Paddington sold out quickly and I thought about the A6 Paddington but decided to go cute with Yumi’s full range except the post-it tabs - sounds silly that I spent so much and wanted to save a few ££ on the posits!! Looking forward to checking out the rest of your videos and wishing you endless fun with your beautiful Hobonichi items 🎊🫶🏽🙌🏾🎉

This was such a great video. You are so insane - the best people are!! I absolutely adored this video, it was so much fun to watch…. Off to watch your previous videos for more unboxing fun.. I’m sure. I put in one order… for myself, but just like last year I am fighting with myself to put in another (not at fisticuffs yet!). I fluff up my notebooks so I don’t know if mine would still fit after adding collage elements, stickers and I too love fountain pens… literally sitting her drooling over your gold vanishing point - such a beautiful combo with the cafe cover - now I want both but I love my pens like my babies so I couldn’t see myself getting cross with the zipper for scraping my “Precious” (pen). The interior of my Cafe Au Lait cover smells more plastic-y than leather 🤔 I wonder if it's because the exterior fabric overwhelms the interior leather smell, or if maybe the hot weather transferred the smell of the plastic bag to the cover. In any case, I don't notice any smell it during normal usage. And I'm sure it'll fade with time 😊

I love this video! I got the A6 cafe au lait, too, and I almost screamed when I realized my 2024 hon could fit in. (Tip: the vanishing point fits in the center of the case better than the loop, so you don't have to worry about scratching.)

Thank you for showing what the HON looks like in the Alettone cover. In the Hobonichi Live they tried the Bow&Tie Hon in the Alettone, which didn't fit. So I'm guessing this is a different HON?

Thank you for checking! From the official Hobonichi website, looks like the dimensions for all the A6 HONs are the same. Maybe the Bow&Tie fabric itself made it a bit harder to slide in? 🤔 The Slash-Ivory HON cover is pretty smooth & slick. In any case, the Alettone cover is plastic so you can also use a hairdryer to apply some heat to the cover and stretch it upward a bit. If you feel brave 😆 But this is pretty common when people want to stretch their clear plastic cover for any notebook.

I keep coming back to watch this video over and over again lol. Everything is just so cute! I'm happy I found this though because I have the same journal, and I didn't want to just decorate it with boring stickers like I usually do with my diaries. So this is perfect! Also a question, how do you make the magnets stay onto your planner without falling off? They look really cute and I might try to do the same❤

I think you could also glue fabric to the job cover and create sleeves so that you can slip a notebook in and out , not as permanent
