Wait, Imposter Syndrome is meant to point out the suffering person as an imposter? I always thought it‘s called like that because the sufferer is of the illusion that they may be an imposter, although they are not. I thought it was a way to describe the phenomenon when skilled people think of themselves wrongfully as inadequate.

Is there some data about this reason of leaving the industry? It would be useful to mention it.
