Ok, I saw this video about 5 years ago and I loved it. It is so good and timeless, and it introduced me to The Cog is Dead. Great introduction to the hobby. But I have to ask... what is the song at 0:22? The website listed in the credits seem to be down and I've wanted to hear it in full for so long. Is it available anywhere or is it lost forever? Edit: I realise that it's been more than 5 years since I found this. Man, I feel old. xD

Very late comment, but for what it's worth, Verne was a mid-19th century writer (not early 20th century), and H G Wells wrote in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He wrote the screenplay for the film Things to Come (1936, only three years before Gone with the Wind) and he didn't die until 1945.

That's the point of the last clip "what is steam punk" that you can put any time era into it as long as it fits with the pre digital era aesthetic

I am a Dog human hybrid as some may call me, but I have a higher understanding and love of old and newer technology, I was born in the ocean and came to land at a young age, my creator gave me the ability to speak and write in some other languages, and be able to understand the feelings around me.

Steampunk is simply a culture. Like any culture, we each bring something to it, and it is the sum of the whole.

I love this creativity and open mindedness, all people who cosplay and have their own original style they are my idols. To have the guts to express yourself the way you really are, different and unique is how everyone should be and not try hard to be "normal" to fit in a boring society. I think art is beautiful and live in all of us in many kind of forms you just have to find what you like.
