to be more detailed, this song was made and composed prior to Dee being added to the game in 2005. Capcom released "Vampire Chronicle for Matching Service" for the Sega Dreamcast in 2000, which also featured this song for the opening sequence. Dee's in-game victory song, also uses the same song from Shadow's in-game win screen

(Miniboss encounter; an unknown reploid is seen killing several resistance members leaving one remaining) Resistance soldier: (crying) (Unknown reploid kills the resistance soldier) ???: Ah, another resistance scum waiting to be retired by my hands. Zero: … … ???: Hahaha! I’ll end you swiftly! (Miniboss defeated) ???: Tch! You are one tough reploid. I’ll admire that. I got no time to deal with you for now. (Unknown reploid teleports) Ciel: Zero! She serves as part of Sage Harpuia’s Strong Air Battalion, specializing in the use of drones and hive constructs. She commands two kinds of drones: the bee drone (for scouting and alerting swarms to its location) and the hornet drone (attacks with stinger missiles and lasers). She commands a whole armada of drones inside a hive construct that she established in close proximity to the resistance base. (Intro) Ciel: Zero. Find a way inside the hive construct. I’ll provide you with more details once you are in. Start the mission now. (Inside the hive construct) Ciel: Zero. The inside is composed of complex passages. Your mission is to find your way to the hive’s core and destroy it. That will render the entire hive inoperable. (Sealed entrance) Ciel: The entrances to the core are sealed.
