It's true what Bob says below - Seminole won kick this year, in Feb. 1997. Lake Mary won it the year before and the year after.

Lake Mary was not first at UDA in 1997. Seminole High School scored their first national championship during this year with "Rockin the Paradise". Lake Mary had an amazing routine, and deserves tons of respect. But they did not win here. They would reclaim their title in 1998. Sorry.
