Samantha Morton is my favorite Jane Eyre. I would have liked to see her paired with Timothy Dalton, who is my favorite Mr. Rochester, instead of Zelah Clarke (who was just miscast IMO). Unfortunately she would have been too young.

Hmmm - analogy nowadays: Taylor Swift - endorsing Harris because of Waltz transgender policies - where Minnesota judges can have the custody over underaged youngsters of other US states - to organize them puberty blockers and having them irreversibly mutilated. Sorry - I actually didn´t want to get political here - when we deal with fine arts. But you mentioned this point which is a socio-political issue also nowadays.

Nostalgia rewind! I absolutely love this version of Mansfield Park. One of my favs from Masterpiece Theater 🎭. I recall watching the premiere on telly as a tween and i read the novels simultaneously for the first time ever along with the series. But on tv they were released as 2-4 weekly Episodes, depending on the novel 📖. I do miss those times. Though i would of preferred more screen time together for Fanny and Edmund. All the actors adequately portray all the memorable characters imo😊. Thank you for uploading this.

"In my heart I know you... Intimately." That line and its delivery never fails to give me the heebie-jeebies. One of my favourite parts of this almost immaculate adaptation is a slight change from the book. I love how close the Musgrove family are and how warm they are with each other. It's such a constrast with Anne's family how welcoming they are with her but a sign of how put-upon she is that she falls into the same patterns of quietly dealing with everyone's problems. My favourite scene is Charles charging into the house shouting that Louisa is conscious. It's so heartwarming. The acting is unparalleled.

My favourite version 🤗. Can't stop see it over and over again. Despite of some differences in regard of the book ( omitions ), the main history of Jane and Edwards love is intact. Samantha Morton is exactly like I imagined Jane: tiny and pale with a natural radiation of an particularly beauty, but especially an internal beauty, Ciaran Hints had indeed the power to create such an character, an unforgetable Edward Rochester! Thank you for this opportunity to watch!❤
