Just a lil tip for those not well versed in command prompt usage, if you extract the BrainFlowsIntoVRChat-main somewhere on another drive, say D:\ for example, you have to put a /d before pasting, otherwise it just won't change directory. e.g. cd /d D:\Utilities\BrainFlowsIntoVRChat-main

loving the tutorial! very easy to follow, however i keep running into an error after it finds the Muse headset where it says "BOARD_NOT_READY_ERROR:7 unable to prepare streaming session" and im not sure how to fix it. it connects just fine and works just fine in the muse app 😢

UPDATE: Newer versions of python prefer the "py" command rather than "python" so if you are having issues use that instead Example: "python -m pip install -r requirements.txt" becomes "py -m pip install -r requirements.txt"

I’m VERY interested in the process of putting together VTube-style videos with VRC avatars, and I noticed you’ve got that exact setup here… could a viewer or someone explain what you’re supposed to do to be able to use your VRC avi for VTubing like the above?

So cool! Would be amazing too if people could use it for Vtubing avatars too! (say able to toggle expressions and such). My main character I use in VRChat has a different emotion of every expression in his eyes (since he's hevely emotion based) so this would be so cool to pare with face tracking, where I can express with my face, and instead of using gestures to change the eye shapes and colours, I could use Wave tracking instead ^_^ (that or use it to control wings or a tail would also be fun! :D) I'll totally be following this in the future and consider getting one :3

hey! quick question, when i go to do "pip install -r requirements.txt" it tells me "'pip' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." any idea what i may be doing wrong?

Verify python is installed If problems persist check to make sure your environment variables have a valid %PATH% to python

There's a help thread in this discord on it, here's an excerpt Try py -m pip install -r requirements.txt If that doesn't work try py -m pip install setuptools

@@RantiMess Yeah, I fixed it by adding C:\Users\<YOUR USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python312\Scripts to the Path environment variables (but with my username)
