Would like to know what the professor found out about the foot. Interesting and heartbreaking.

I loved this product. It makes it really hard for glue on shoes to be applied and I thought my HCP was going to shoot me. But now I went to school for Applied Equine Podiatry and I might check it out again. I agree that the smell is good. Some do not like it though! Lol

Just thinking out loud, I would expect most liquid applications to penetrate soft/damaged areas, the difference being whether the product has a therapeutic impact . Did you see any affect at all on the wall?
@HoofStudies7 ай бұрын
Yes the penetration seemed to be more in the softer and maybe the more abnormal areas. Which actually gave me comfort as I felt it would “stick” to the parts that needed it the most.

It would be interesting to see half a hoof treated half untreated to see the difference

What does an adequate frog look like? Would it be thicker (more mm between tissue and the ground)?
@HoofStudies7 ай бұрын
Yes. A good frog has more of the grey “car tyre” appearance and I believe 1.5 cm is a good thickness.

So pleased to have found your channel and this clip. I have 3 horses in my practice wth those concave, pointy "triangular" dreadful feet. Interestingly only one has them bilaterally. All of those feet are compromised and disorganized in terms of external structure and integrity. Only 1 horse has a history of chronic cortisone abuse. The others are "fragile horses" susceptible to viruses and illness. All are TBs. Dead keen to hear what Prof Pollitt has to say. Had the priveledge of attending a seminar he presented at a vet congress about 15 years ago.
