How do you remove this part from the car. I have removed the screws on either side but it still won’t come out. Am I missing a mechanism or screw that still needs removed?

You need to undo the bolts and pull the bumper back a bit to get to the bumper side bolts

Would the actuator also be responsable for the button not doing anything? It goes in but doesn’t open the boot

So this is supposed to be not only more energy efficient, but the material is also more green? My only question here is on durability. Would it last as long or longer than more widespread options like silicone?

V Guyver . It last as long as the windows-we have tested it. It is more efficient than silicone (0.6w/m2k. V silicone 2.4). Has acoustic benefits (43db). Is air tight and rain resistant. Silicone will peel off-thois wont as it moves with building expansion.
