Congrats on 500 New Sunscribers , an indication of the quality of the channel my buddy. Now with your skills you might be able to get a sky light tight , with me I'd be in the wall because I know I'd have leaks lol. I'd look at which ever gives the most light I guess if either of those locations end or wall face south....if not maybe end would show more light on your stove and new table ?? Awesome job on the table, definitely the way to go with the legs in at that angle so it doesn't take up floor space, and folding so you can move it altogether. That meal looked delicious glad I watched before supper because now I can have something to eat if was after supper I'd be hungry and full lol. The kerosene lamps sure puts the ambiance setting in the cabin. That painting is beautiful, great detail. I'm sure you'll figure it out I used a site recently that works really well if you need it I'll send you link, I have to dig back through because I forget the link lol. Hope you have a great week my friend

Hi.. great channel... as for the window you can tell best where you need it places but if you have a wall with no window mat be a good place and you could see out that side of the cabin if needed.

You are obviously a man with some serious carpentry skills, BUT, since you asked lol……. I think putting the window that close to the corner might possibly lead to structural issues down the road. I’d put it right in the middle of the gable end wall, maybe up a bit high especially if you ever have bear issues there. Just my .02¢

Thanks Allan, I really appreciate your input and most likely that will be the plan, take care

Window in wall. Never cut a hole in the roof. Don't ask me why. Should be fairly easy to saw in. Get it pointed toward the sun best you can given the season. Adjacent to the table. Thinking weather hits the backside of the cabin. Cold and rot it out over time. Seems more light there as well. Live edge looks great. we have a lot of pretty good timber down here in Kentucky USA. It's a lot better up there given the slow growth. Much more dense. Worked with wood most all my life one way or another. Good eats. Liked the vid. Like it up north. Many trips. Moose is great. Had it in Alaska. Pickle the nose. Cut it in strips. Great painting. Looks like 3-D as it should. Good job on a shed too. When it clears some northern lights would be good if the chance comes your way. All good from East Kentucky USA Be safe. Next time.

Hey Sam, you know what you’re talking about obviously, no not going in the roof. Pickled moose nose now that’s a first for me but sounds good. Our timber up here is great to work with, I’ve built live edge tables also. Great comment take care
