Great video with a great testimony. Every disciple needs to learn to give his testimony in order to make other disciples. True faith will lead to obedience to the commands of Jesus, especially to "go and make disciples."(Matthew 28:18-20)

This definition of "believe" is given in John 8:30 - "As he spake these words, many believed on him." Because of this, there is no other way to Biblically define the word "believe" other than as "(intellectually) trusting the promises/guarantees of Jesus concerning salvation" (eg, John 3:16, John 4:14, John 5:24). If you trust Him to do what He claimed He did, He will, because He is ever-faithful (2 Timothy 2:13) and Almighty to do so (Revelation 1:8).

Especially in terms of sexual relationships and it's a fact on people in our society... What very rarely gets talked about is women being aggressive. Keep in mind that in the end it always looks like the male aggression. But most of us that learn to understand how women attract men need to know that very often women will Target a man that they respect and look up to or see they can get something out of. It's not always that they're conscious of it either. And so I say we as males need to stop following for our own biological predisposition to fall for the cues that females give us whether consciously or unconsciously. I think Paul was absolutely right when he says it's better not to marry and it's better to stay away from sexual immorality. We need to practice abstinence. Taking it to the shower is no shame in comparison to falling for that sexual temptation and it affecting ourselves and many around us.

Amen that abstinence is better, in agreement, but not in agreement on taking it to the shower. Masturbation is a sin and an open door to the demonic and getting a spirit spouse and spirit of perversion. Sex is meant for the covenant of marriage and marriage bed alone. Period.

I think It might be helpful to be a bit more specific about Who "the fallen leaders" are because if youre talking about personal sin, thats one thing...but we have some globally renown leaders who are fallen, but they were/are very famous and It turns our they are false teachers!!.....so I found the podcast a bit confusing...It would be helpful to teach people discernment so they see where the false teaching IS...😮

Larry has been an encouragement to me for the last 40 years. EvanTell is the best source for teaching a clear gospel ( by grace through faith apart from any type of works ) that I've come across. And the several times I've actually got to speak with Larry directly, have left a lasting impression on me and encouraged me in my walk with the Lord. This video of basic Q & A helped to remind me of the "hows" to communicate ( start the conversations ) with those God brings me in contact with. Prayer is the KEY to our walk with the Lord, and ASKING for His guidance and strength is the only way to be a fruitful branch.

Dave, I respectfully disagree with you completely on your view of this video. It’s actually a phenomenal evangelism podcast that can inspire and motivate others to think outside the box. There’s no digital stuff… I suggest to everyone to listen to the video and make your own conclusion. You’ll walk away feeling inspired and spiritually motivated . May God bless us all.

Problem with your good presentation is that the apostles never told anyone in the Bible to trust in Jesus and pray the sinner's prayer. This appears to add a work that the Bible doesn't record nor did the apostles ever teach.

This is pretty good but would have been better if you included a salvation verse like Acts 16:30-31, John 6:47, John 3:16 or John 11:25-26. Would be good if you added one or two of those verses in your may I ask you a question gospel tracts.

What if you were saved at a young age and grew up and fell back into sin?
@evantell
@evantell Жыл бұрын
Great question! Unfortunately, we will always struggle with sin in this life. We see this by example in Romans 7:15-25 where Paul explains how he is constantly warring with sin - but then praises Jesus who is his Redeemer. We also see it declared in 1 John 1:8, where we're told that whoever claims to be without sin is a liar. The question that matters most then is not, "do I still sin?" but rather, "have I trusted in Christ alone as my Savior?" If the answer is "yes," then you can trust that He is your Savior even as you struggle with sin.

As seen in the comment section Faith Alone in Christ Alone is anything but "Easy " believism as few will simply trust in what Jesus did without trying to add in their merit or performance going so far as to redefine a non religious word like Repent(ance) to be Catholic penance when All it means is change your mind/think differently/ after thought. Keep sharing the pure true gospel of faith in Jesus Alone for so few do hence the Broadway of religious works self righteous based groups being the most popular.

I have seen several street evangelists that seem to use the argumentative method. You’d think there should be a better way to kindly present the gospel to those who are open to talking about it.
@evantell
@evantell Жыл бұрын
Hi Ian! We agree that no evangelism method should be hostile, even if it is confrontational (like street evangelism). The best street evangelists declare the message of the gospel with a deep compassion for others. If our desire is to argue, we run the danger of winning many debates, but losing many opportunities to share the gospel with others because they just walk away frustrated.
