Since you asked for feedback about your new content, here it goes. You need a second cam for the closeup of the interviewee instead of just cropping the wideshot to cover the cuts. If you don't want to get a second cam, maybe set up a tight shot of the whole interview and just use B-rolls of the venue to cover jump cuts. But I love this format, so hopefully, you'll do more.

The term “braille” is actually tactile bumps, put in a pattern to form letters in the English alphabet and how blind people read if you didn’t know that

Im 43 and 3 months agoI started skateboarding. I do 1 or 2 hours a week. I'm dropping in medium sized ramps, can kick turn, rock to fakie and revert. I'm at that point I want to learn a few easy tricks and glad I found this vid 👍 I've got some tricks to try next session. Thanks

I live in the American Southwest. I contemplated rubber grip tape, but with dust being everywhere, I just couldn't see myself wiping it down after every few tricks to keep it "sticky." The trade off for not wearing shoes down but having to wipe the "grip" down multiple times a session just wasn't worth it to me I guess. And if I was really a game changer, more people would've hopped on board (pun intended). I've heard more people try it and switch back than people who keep at it. I guess if you have the perfect garage conditions where you mop the floor before each session, and that's your main practice area, then I guess rubber griptape would be fine

That braille rubber grip looks extra wack! Super low quality! I got mine from a smaller brand outta the east coast. It wasn't this bad, you could poke holes to get rid of bubbles without issue. It still wasn't as good as regular grip... But wast this terrible 😅
@dutchmcfadyen58678 күн бұрын
I only use it for my son's board. He's 3 so the rubber grip isn't as gnarly for the lil dude who's always on it with his belly and such 😅
@mikehemens93598 күн бұрын
If you cant figure a way to get rid of an air bubble like those your hopeless.
@Webzskateboards8 күн бұрын
Rubber grip just causes it to bunch up, even after you poke a hole in it. So in a look of cases it actually looks worse when popped like a flappy bit of skin

I've been skating DKL the past 4 years now non stop. So many of the things you are saying in this video are just straight up incorrect. ▪︎ You can easily get rid of the air bubbles by just poking them with a razor knife like you would with a regular griptape. ▪︎ Grip doesnt lift up if you just sand down the edges a little bit. I can tell by just looking at your board that you're not applying it like it should be. ▪︎ Your point about about it being double the price compared to regular grip doesnt really make sense. Skate shoes usually lasted me 3-4 weeks on regular grip. I've been skating the same pair of Forum Mids for over a year now with DKL. In my experience all my flip tricks have also been incredibly more consistent with DKL since the shoes dont really wear down. Just my 2 cents.
@Webzskateboards8 күн бұрын
As I said in the video tho in the UK it’s almost unusable because as soon as it gets wet or dusty it’s lethal. Which is more than enough to put me off Also the air bubbles in this video had been poked into, I thought that would be obvious but I guess I shoulda said anyway. Perhaps it’s just the type I had but I hated it personally and tried it for nearly a a month of skating everyday
@AndrewDangerously8 күн бұрын
I use it for my trampoline board. It doesn't reduce wear on the trampoline, but guests can use it with their street shoes during get togethers. Pretty niche use-case, but I'm happy with it! I tried it with a fingerboard too, it was dogshit.
