I got it cheap at an auction. There wasn't a tag on it, so I'm not sure what brand it is

My horse had the same thing but I spent $1,200 and it had come out the coronary band and then settled lower in the foot. Didn’t ride him for 2 months as he had to be put on antibiotics. I had him checked a couple times after just to be sure it didn’t come back so it was some extra money for the additional visirs. Antibiotics was so expensive! I did ride him twice after it blew out the band then dead lame again a few days later. So was like two in a row basically.

I love your videos and they have helped me SOO much, I have watched them all. Do you have any tips on teaching your horse how to pick up speed in between the first and second?

Been riding for 10+ years (mainly for work on the farm) but wanting to get into gymkhanas. We don't have any trainers near us so I've really enjoyed your content and watching you! Thank you 🫶🏻

Great training tips. Found your dog's circles around your horse a distraction to your video/comments though.

He’s going to be a phenomenal horse when he’s finished. I usually start or finish my own horses as well. I find it rewarding and I like knowing EXACTLY what my horses know how to do and what buttons they have. One thing that I really like to do is teach them vocal cues for different things on the ground so that when I’m on Their back if they don’t understand what my legs are cuing them to do I incorporate the sounds and they understand. If I kiss it’s ALWAYS canter, lope, if I cluck it’s ALWAYS trot, jog and if I make a chchch sound that’s ALWAYS back up. Once they know those on the ground then it seems to clarify a lot of cues for them unsaddle. If they are behind my leg at the trot if I cluck to them they don’t break into the canter they just give me more trot etc.

Thank you for not doing the slapping leg motion 🙏🏼 I used it for my 17-year-old Malinois Lubrisan ha, he couldn't get up to the couch and had in general trouble getting up after just ten days it was like a night and day difference he even jumped up to the bed, and didn't do it for a year now. I know it's pricey but so much worth it.
