I used to live and work in Puvirnituq. I still miss it after many years.

Possibly the best race video I've seen, thank you so much for showing off the course in such an engaging way. And way to rock your first 200mi race!

Absolutely loved this video. If your intent was to encourage people to sign up for it, it worked. We'll see if it fits into next summer's schedule. Thanks so much for putting this together. I don't know how you had the presence of mind to do this while trying to get the race done. Amazing.

Hi.. it looks like a great place to run. Well organized. The trail is well maintained. I am interested. Thanks for sharing. 🙏. I have a question if you don’t mind. At the single track section, I didn’t see any volunteers or clear markings. Can you clarify that you had confidence that you were in the right track when there’s no volunteers or markings? Thanks.

You spent a lot of time there but would have been nice to hear how it's properly pronounced. Pov-i-r-ni-tuq. But okay. Thanks for the video. It was great minus the pronunciation......

You complain about the pronunciation, but then you give a completely useless example to pronounce it!!! 😂

I just got back from Chicago recently to see a friend and I was sitting at home wondering where else I could go. I remembered my buddy just moved to Alaska. So I pulled up my maps and checked some of the northernmost cities in Canada and found Inuvik. Fuck it. I’m flying out next week, booked my flight.

It's pretty cool! Would love to visit in the summer months one day :-)
Is this event done with metal-edged skis or more traditional XC skis like those used on groomed trails?

I turned 50 on the day of the race so I celebrated by running the 50 miler - my first 50. It was indeed a great course. Aid stations were well stocked. The course was flat. Weather was great. Alligators were friendly. Im heading back this year.

If I hear her say 'In -- ooh -- vik' again (with the emphasis on the ooh) I will scream. I lived there close to 17 years and locals call it 'In-new-vik'. At least she did not mess up Tuktoyaktuk.
