Saw no comments, so thought I'd say Hi. For me, ffvii goes back to 2005, I played X just before which woke me up to story focused games, and VII had always captured my interest since I had owned for a long time, but had been unable to play it completely because it was incompatible with my PC (the notorious port). The setting really is strikingly unique and inspired, and IMO a great way to marry cyberpunk and fantasy in a way that feels cohesive. A weird thing about becoming a fan of the game at the time I did, was that IMMEDIATELY AFTER, they did the whole compilation of FFVII deal. I don't love every single thing released in those times, but it was a nostalgic time none the less, and VII original has stuck with me ever since.

@@NevetsTSmith thank you so much for commenting. I can't remember exactly when I got ff7, but it was one of the first games I got on the PlayStation 1. Such good times and loving the story. Still to this day I feel it is one of the best stories in a game. I hope you enjoy the playthrough, I really enjoyed getting back into this game and I am excited to get on ff8 and ff9 for the channel.

You should try out the OG Rome: Total War. It's a much better game than this mobile port.

I have to agree with you on this. There's a lot of similarities obviously, but after playing the remastered, the original is just better. Maybe after this playthrough, I can do a new series with the old style.

Hello, i would like to pich in. A dude, lets call it Nug. He uses a 2 handed axe, heavy aumour, lone warrior (does better when he's singled out and when he's surrounded by enimies). Hope that helps

The only slight comment I would make is try to zoom in and out more, especially during battles so you can see more of the action on the ground. Other than that they’re great. 💪
