I have upper and lower braces, plus an upper palate expander installed since June. Lower expansion isn't on the treatment plan, but at my last appointment I was told I would be getting impressions done this week for a lower expander. I have no idea what this is but I suspect it's what you're talking about. I am a mature adult, btw. My palate did split a couple of months ago.

It has to be worn as per treatment plan or the teeth shift ~tips for those in need stay away from crunchy or tough foods or you will lose pieces of your teeth with attachments

Invisalign It took off a piece of my tooth when the attachment fell off and yes will give you cracks in teeth if not worn properly 22 hours a day I’ll stick to the good ole train tracks gives a variety to treatment plans I hear

if youre worried about attachments and the visability, rly get over it. to some extent fixing ur alignment can fix ur teeth/mouth/gum health. so pick ur battle wisely. going against doctor's advise/judgement is not smart.
