49:32 Machinery so I mean it's a question like for us to consider as a species whether 49:39 or not we want to allow the machines to do say all of our agriculture all of our farming for us or is there something 49:45 about the human being that that we are meant to be the cultivators of the soil 49:50 that that's actually a noble task as as much as it's full of blood Sweat and 49:57 Tears it's difficult work but maybe that's deeply meaningful and to the extent that we do have these Robots 50:03 coming in to do the difficult jobs that we're actually draining ourselves of 50:09 meaningful work at the same time right and so if we do have all this automation come in it needs to occur at the same

Evolution is false on the larger scale. Yes we evolve. Not into a different species. Its just the elite trying to control the paradigm. They want us to feel insignificant. The evidence are all based on interpretation of artifacts. They attempt to twist and make fossils fit the puzzle, along with junk dna.

The writer Erik Godsey refers to the draw of technology as The Shimmer, taken from the book/film Annihilation. I question though whether technology in and of itself is the problem, when modern first-world societies are pushing people more and more into less face-to-face interaction and communication, leading to feelings of disconnectedness, less cooperation because everyone seems so distant and shared experiences so disparate. A group of us in the experiencer community believe that the Source is going to force humanity into an awakening of sorts this next year, but what exactly that means, I don't know. The people that do know are not want to spread the word, because there are dark times coming as a precursor. Even if the times are dark, I've seen the Malachim myself, and in the end, it will be a great thing.

Theory not theology. But it only relates to the growth by natural selection of populations of living organisms over millions of years and has NOTHING to do with the origin of life. Anyone who says it does is not understanding the theory.

@@prestonbacchus4204 yes but note evolution as such is a far more general idea than just Darwin’s mechanism of natural selection. Darwin didn’t even call his theory evolution. The idea of a common descent of life predates him.

@@Footnotes2Plato Well, a common descent is what we have as they are saying all life we know of emerged 4 billion years ago from LUCA. Many scientists still hold out belief in abiogenesis but at least as far as we can tell now, it remains possible that "life" emerged naturally and inevitably out of the big bang.

Quantum entanglement makes a lot more sense if we do away with the intuition that space is our ultimate medium rather than recetivity, which is essentially the driving mechanism of time, which itself if the translational metric for space. The above intuition causes us to view the speed of light as a product of light's nature rather than as a limitation of the perceptibility of information. The cap on how fast anything can travel through space, I believe, comes from within the same mode of externalising space as a representative interpretation of information perception over time. Space is essentially inside-out, so to speak. In this case, entanglement doesn't involve "things" across "space". It's a representation of the source of what ends up being interpreted as such. Unfortunately this requires a further explanation of a sort of "scale relativity" that would necessarily have to exist as a direct biproduct of an inwardly interpreted/outwardly projected spacial medium, but I'm writing a KZbin comment, not a book😅

Ideas for people same as ideas sent out by grass forms, where time lag from consuming grass inspires ideas in the horizontal, also having more time to think as a result. 8 effect octave where 50 Hz keeps C-ing, with groups as chords in this gliding/spinning.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but it seems like you're drawing a dichotomy between a purely mechanistic ontology and that of one governed by a conscious force of which we're all a part. My question is, why can't the latter exist as part of the former? A mind isn't the act of experiencing as much as it is the ability to process the content of an experience. I don't see why that's necessary for the simple subjective on-switch to have evolved our universe to this point. It would only take a primordial sensate default state plus a primordial will to sense. None of this implies thoughts or intentions and yet it can stand up to the test of implicit responsibility for every other cause. I believe that both ends of information exchange - active and receptive - are simultaneously compulsive and causal at the root of all things. I feel like a big issue in discussing this sort of topic is the convenience of mystical analogies. Philosophy lacks the approachable verbiage that mysticism offers us, but I think that comes with a lot of baggage and a lot of people end up taking it too literally. Even as a determinist who doesn't believe in free will, I find the easiest way to refer to this first-cause polarity of emanation and perceptivity in the idealistic framework is by using terminology borrowed from the hermetic qabalah and other modern esoteric schemas. Could this be what's confusing me about your approach? Am I taking your analogies too literally, or do you ascribe an actual mind to the nature of the universe?

attenuation in the horizontal from the energy of the eternal vertical singularity with looping objects that spin inside while gliding like children around a maypole. Attenuation as the horizontal looks back and sees a glittering multifaceted and colored fruit which it devours while birthing justice, another ring around the fractal. Imaginal and emotional communication space trading objects as finely tuned instrument for the Blob to see itself as ring that ascends to cone and joins in EM as time cutting ties to the vertical horizontal hourglass as evolution or energy spinning top.

What people don’t understand, because they see materialism and non-dualism in conflict, is that they are only 2 key aspects of the same thing. Also, we reject infinities in mathematics without understanding them. Infinity is extremely important to us. We need to understand and not reject ALL THINGS. ❤ There’s a WORLD of difference between A coherent story, and THE coherent story. One is a fairytale story for the extinct, the other is life. The primary error humans make is in their ignorance of our epistemological past. We don’t really understand what the path of knowledge is or what it means. So: 1) motivations other than truth is the death-path. A funeral lullaby for the blind. 2) they don’t know what things mean. They don’t even pay attention to the process of what universes do because they are so self-referent and instrumental in their attentions. Always in history they think they understand, but they do not. Now is no different. If you read “Eye of God: Language of Universal Mind” you will just BEGIN to see the door opening on a vast new world where we can and will know anew. Everything we think we know is about to change.

This talk is such a gift, Matt. I had an experience in the Gurdjieff Work analogous to Matt's time in Anthroposophy. It was kind of a stepping stone to process thought. Gurdjieff taught a deep integration of physical, mental, and feeling practices for awakening, but with a no-nonsense, radical empiricist concreteness. He also has this Law of Three (if you Google it make sure it's Gurdjieffs. See Cynthia Bourgeault's "the holy Trinity and the law of three" for the best explanation) regarding how anything novel (not just rearrangements) comes into being - so resonant with Whitehead's concrescence somebody should do a comparative study. Gurdjieff called his system esoteric Christianity though it attracted all types, artists, psychologists, Buddhists, intellectuals etc. I was in that work for 10 years and learned a great deal. But ultimately Gurdjieffs insights were abstracted by his followers and lost some of their pragmatic flexibility and relevance (at least in my group). I think he had an overly pessimistic view of the world except for our rare ability to pay attention and direct our attention. I still have tremendous gratitude for my time there but ultimately I learned all I could and didn't fit the program nicely. The core issue for me was that, contrary to Gurdjieff himself, attention/awakening was abstracted from relationship to its content - kind of an isolated pole of experience unto itself, therefore too much transcendence, lost its integral aspect, and it moved toward a self-protective system - at least in my local group. Interestingly Gurdjieff insisted that his work was only suited for those who had tried another work first and come to the end of it - usually any exoteric religion, or even success in business or the arts. Otherwise if it was a first experience of an inner path, he believed practitioners might turn the esoteric work into an exoteric, codified, non-integral practice. For a generation or two the work has no longer adhered to this policy. Ultimately I can still recommend the Gurdjieff work as long as you go in there like a thief without identifying with it - as I think Gurdjieff would have wanted.

Epic riff on where you’re at ! You covered a lot of ground! I agree with almost everything you said, with some minor nuanced exceptions. Sad to hear Wolfgang’s take on Chardin, one of my Mt. Rushmore favorites. I’v only listened to a small sample of Smith’s ideas. I love Process Theology to the extent I can understand it. I think Chardin and now Ilia Delio are modern day prophets. Evolution in so many domains seems obvious to me. I am a Progressive, Theistic Evolutionary, metamodern Christian.lol. I learned and practice a simple zen meditation technique, danced Zikhr with Sufi friends, dances of Universal Peace and my prayer life includes centering Prayer and Lectio Divina. Like you, I looked far and wide for a spiritual home. I can’t buy into creeds and dogma. Finally, I discovered the United Church of Christ. It’s 20 miles away but very worth the drive. My Pastor embraces the historical critical biblical view, while highlighting the spiritual significance that comes from reading scriptures. We are open and affirming, all are welcome and celebrated. The communion table is always open to everyone, just as Jesus modeled. You might like to visit a UCC church. Of course, each Pastor is different and that is important. Like Paul Kingsnorth says, “The future Christianity will be Mystical, or it won’t survive.” I agree wholeheartedly. People want an authentic, deep spiritual connection. That’s why so many have turned to the East. But it’s available in Christianity as well. Sorry this is so long ! I have your books & am a big fan. You’re on the right track, keep up the great work.

Thanks good discussion on balance with plenty of real insights! But where you really flaked out was the reference to the war in Ukraine as some type of economic plot by the military industrial complex also caused by NATO's expansion. In Europe, not one person can afford such Chomskyan naivete. NATO is purely a defensive alliance for Europe, backed by the US (at least until Jan 21st) and has nothing to do with Western imperialism. To the contrary, it is anti-imperial as is the EU. Specifically, the defense has always been against imperial Russia (previously the imperial Soviet Union) and the reason that everyone in Europe (including Ukraine) wants to join it (and hence it expands) is that Russia is an agressive, imperial and increasingly neo-fascist state that also attacks its neighbors btw. In Europe NATO is strongly supported by both the left and the right as it secures our often progressive liberal democracies. For this reason, even many communists support NATO (putting aside some more populist/conspiratorial communist groupings). Security is not political, but a basic human need. In Europe (and maybe Canada soon ;-) ) we need militaries just like we need fire departments. Just so you know. Of course, I realize that Europe was not the main thrust of your discussion and I really liked the rest. Keep up the good work and looking forward to more good videos!

Thank you so much again for these (third tier) dialogues... better than church indeed. I personally meet every Sunday morning at 10 am with another lady who has an unwavering connection with the Divine. We come from a Roman Catholic upbringing and somehow feel very familiar with the monastic life. Our views in 'content' are different but the quality of our Divinity connection resonates in quality. Very healing, in this materialist world that orients towards loosing the connection with the Sacred, which to me are Bigger Wholes than I am able to fully Live as right now. Life tends to get disorienting and dissociative in this 'cancellation' process. I enjoy meetings in which God is still a three (not a four) letter word. I resonate with: "God is within and beyond." Make total sense to me. During my listening an image of 'nested spheres of intimacy' arises, like the Mandalas of Hildegard von Bingen. Intimacy I can participate in, when it kind of is an 'adjacent Ring of Truth' that is not too far away. A 'Sphere of expanded refinement and seamlessness' that I am currently able to open up to and relax into. Interesting the interweaving questions at the end around Michael Levin's work, bioelectric fields as the mythos maintaining coherence + maybe upgrading us to a next 'ring' or sphere of intimacy when we are able to hold more of our individual and our collective consciousness.... More evolutionary tension... / Different 'voltages' ? It is of of yet beyond me. Looking forward to that upcoming dialogue. Warmly Mar
