I believe this is the pre production car that sold at Barrett - Jackson earlier this year. Fascinating history. I am privileged to have owned two over the years. A1962 Imperial Crown convertible, and a Custom two door hardtop. Wonderful cars, drove and handled well. I would love to have another, a four door this time. Love the styling.

A lot of people never notice that those headlights are pedestal mounted until you point it out to them & they see no attachment above or behind.

I'd love to own this car. My late father owned this exact model and colors. Exterior and interior. I miss it a lot. Of course my father purchased all his Imperials brand new from the late 50s to the mid 60s. Every two years we'd get a new one. Only the 1962 Imperial he kept all through the years. I learned to drive in this car and in brand new Cadillacs in the 60s. I was born in 1952. This car brings back memories.

when I see an Imperial like this one the prestige that this car has is right up there with any of the best.

LeBaron. THE Incomparable Imperial. My ultimate favorite is 1961 LeBaron with FINS soaring higher than fabled 59 Cadillac. 61 through 63 were the last under Exners influence, before Engel brought Lincolnesque styling. LeBaron continued strong until fuselage styling and being folded back as part of Chrysler division.

According to the federal HESCHLAVVO law, it is already forbidden in Switzerland to drive combustion engines on mountain passes from 2025. In France, the SCHLABOUBVE regulates that fossil vehicles that produce fine dust are prohibited in all cities from 2025. The BABVVO in Germany will bann exhaust gas pollution from 2027 and that is what will happen in entire EU also bann of all tires and brakes because of fine dust!!!!!
