What is the one book that you did not show? You clearly have 20 books stacked against the wall but only showed 18 of them. I got 1 just from paying attention to the video but the other is not shown at all.

Hi guys am from canada. Moving to the usa next year to PA. I have a BSCN with honours. I have been an ADN for 19 years and now an RN. Do i need an MSN/NP to go into my CRNA, or which school can i apply to? Is there a lot of math such as stats or its med maths? How many days do you go in class per week. Do you have ICU experience, and please let me know your school. Thank you

Not a single lie said. 1 year in and I tell you, if you are awake and not doing something you fall behind. Studying, chores, exercise, sleep?, clinicals, projects, etc. it is overwhelming. The good news is only for 3 years and time flies! I felt I blinked and now I am in my 3rd semester!

I told a coworker once sometimes bad situations can come up in your nsg job and all the training, experience and education you have isn't enough.

I am a senior in highschool and will be attending nursing school next year. It has been my dream to be a CRNA and I was curious if you had any advice or things I should do now to better my chances for success.

Thx My 26 year old ICU younger daughter is an experienced ICU RN applying from CRNA schools here in CA and out of state. She is also engaged, and owns a home. So many things and planning will be involved. I am helping her applying and share any helpful info with her. She is a very good student/RN with many certifications including cardiac, smart, focus, and hard working.

Great job. In Ohio we were more of a neosynephrine unit than norepinephrine...but I traveled all over and a lot of places unfortunately don't use neo enough.

Great job hot stuff! Keep at it! For me it's more interesting reading a 12 lead than it is taking care of a MI patient, unless they are actively coding....I'm more of a crash, burn and shock chick.

This grading system at WGU is really making me scared because I want to be a CRNA. So what if when I’m done with WGU, I go get my MSN at a traditional school with GPA and do very well before applying for CRNA school will it help/blend?

Okay I’m hacking WGU currently. Doing the bachelors in science that has all the prerequisites for the accelerated bsn at my local state school. So I’ll finish my bachelors in science then go to the 13 month bsn program near me so I can build some connections locally and technically graduate from a state university!

I’m currently in my first term at WGU. I reached out to a school and was told they do no accept any competency based programs even if I retake the science core classes. Did you check with schools ahead of time or just apply? Thanks for the content!

How was your BSN GPA calculated? Did they strictly use the 3.0 from WGU or did they include the required prerequisites for admission to the program like Microbiology, human anatomy? I also have chemistry courses from before WGU that would make my science GPA competitive, but im not sure how much those would change my cumulative. I guess that could be program dependent. Maybe I'm overthinking this, but I've wanted this since before nursing school, but when I chose WGU I pushed it into the back of my mind because I wasn't sure what else to do.

Each school has their own criteria. Best bet is to check the program website and/or email them directly and ask

I’m confused on how the lab/clinical schedule works. Each one you are in for 3 weekends in a row then you are off a month?
