What did you think about the bikes? An irish guy just did it and he's whinging about the weight of the bikes, the bad suspension and side stands. I love my harleys, I'm just wondering why anyone would do it if the bikes were that bad.

Your comment made me laugh. We thought the bikes were great. The Irish guy you're on about can't be much of a biker if that's what he thought. If you're thinking about doing Route 66 stop thinking and go and do it my friend. You won't regret it.

Rednecks on motorcycles are very noisy...these motorcycles are the noise polluting vehicles of the world and should be banned...those who drive them are ignorant and highly uneducated characters...a kind of incomplete assembly...

It was on our Bucket List for years then 5 years ago when I was 72 and my wife 65, we did it from Illinois to California on a 99 Harley Davidson Ultra listening to old rock and country tunes !! We lived in Ontario Canada and still do!😊!

We have our 1020FB reserved for June 2023 and taking our 12yo granddaughter to get a taste of boating life/Loosdrecht-Amsterdam-Edam. Good work on the photography/video/transitions. Can you please post tech info on camera and drone models? For better audio, You might try a clip on wireless mic (set of two) with a base unit receiver that fits lightning plug on iphone/ipad. brand cjww. this will not help if your camera is a goPro. thanks. When will Part 3 drop? We are hooked now! Safe journeys.

I will also download your playlist, so thanks for posting, now we will have great road trip music (em...canal? trip music) for the cruise! Well done. This will be our 4th tiny boat trip with Locaboat and LeBoat plus one 8ft x 55ft narrowboat in restored canals of Englands east Midlands. (plus France: Cahors, Brittany) All wonderful. And we are hooked on the flying bridge boat. Your film shows the experience well - those low bridges! yikes!! I will bring my gopro and debating about the space for a small drone. Nice result (which of you does the post production? joint effort?) Good choices. Thanks again.

@@heathergardensbrokers6980 Hi Heather, thanks for the message. Sounds like you guys are experienced canal boaters. We would love to do France and England. If you take your drone learn the quick shutdown method as I didn’t know this at the time and kept trying to land it on the boat whilst it was moving (rather stupid I know). I (Dale) video and edit the youtube videos and Zoë handles the instagram. Thanks again for your message, let us know when you make the video for yours!

The trip of a lifetime, thanks for sharing! I lived on Rt. 66 in Arizona for 15 years, and was lucky enough to meet people from all over the world. I may be biased, but you'll meet some of the best people in the country along the "Mother Road"!

You had the Father I wish I had. Mom helped me buy my first bike, a 1974 Honda cl100 at the age of 14. Live in Vegas 44 years now and have been to most of the places out west that you rode, but there’s so much more. Been riding Harley’s since 2003, the 100 year anniversary. God bless your Dad in heaven.
