Absolute SCAM! They called me and made me buy a package for three nights Orlando and 2 nights at Fort Lauderdale with the condition that I should go to two presentations (which by the way they had told me it is only one for the two places) which would take less than 2 hours. I showed up at the presentations and a bunch of old-school hardcore marketers tried to sell us a timeshare vacation plan which absolutely made no sense, but that was not the problem. They made us stay 5 HOURS EACH and threatening to charge extra hundreds of dollars if we decided to leave. When I told them we were told by PGR that it should be less than two hours, they called PGR liers. (Wonder why they would do business with liars) . When I called Preferred Guest Resorts, in a rude manner, they said it is not their problem. This shows what type of people these folks are because once they sell, they don't take responsibility for their nice pre-sale words. They also charged me some extra money for an upgrade I did on a car rental and long-story-short I paid more than what I could with Alamo (car rental company), if I had booked with Alamo directly. Complete disappointment. Just go read the reviews online and you'll find out how these people make money. Check google, BBB, trip advisor! I feel scammed and my vacation has been ruined.

I had the same thing happen. I agreed to the marketing call and never got information on the package. Completely forgot about it. Then I got the call saying "do you remember" at which time I said no and asked to cancel. They never canceled the package and called again later. I ended up using my 3 nights in Orlando and 2 nights in Daytona at hotels I could have gotten on line for $70/nite. I paid $299 for the "package" and $15/nite tax for each hotel night $75. But had to pay the "late booking fee" of $70. I did get $200 credit toward universal tickets. I figure it was almost a wash in costs. No "discount package" at all. And spent 3 hours in the PRG Destinations presentation which was a hard sell.

Pretty much a scam. Bait and switch tactics, etc. Not surprised that employees leave favorable comments here I'd pay them too doing the kind of business they do.
