வீட்டில் வைக்க கூடாத ஒரு முக்கிய பொருள் பிரிட்ஜ்...பிரிட்ஜ்ஜில் வைத்து பயன்படுத்தும் உணவு பொருட்களில் உயிர் ஆற்றலோ சத்து பொருட்களோ இருக்காது. இதில் மோசமான குளிரூட்டும் முறைகளே கையாளப்படுகிறது.இதனால் உணவு பொருட்களில் பல ஆரோக்கியத்திற்கு தீங்கு விளைவிக்கும் மாற்றங்கள் ஏற்படுகிறது.சில நேரங்களில் இதனால் விபத்துகளும் ஏற்படுகிறது. எனவே பிரிட்ஜ்சை அறவே தவிர்க்கவேண்டும். பிரிட்ஜ்சை தவிர்க்க இட்லி தோசை மாவை தேவைக்கு ஏற்ப அரைத்து உப்பு சேர்க்காமல் மண் அல்லது ஏதாவது ஒரு பாத்திரத்தில் நீரை நிரப்பி அதனுள் மாவு உள்ள பாத்திரத்தை வைத்து சல்லடை போன்ற மூடியால் அல்லது துணியால் மூடி விட்டால் மாவு புளிப்பதில்லை. தேவைப்படும் போது தேவையான அளவு மாவை எடுத்து உப்பு சேர்த்து பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும் . இவ்வாறு செய்தால் மாவு 3 நாள்கள் வரையும் புளிக்காது. காய்கறிகள் பழங்கள் கீரைகள் போன்றவற்றை அவ்வப்போது வாங்கி பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும். மல்லி கருவேப்பிலை கீரைகளை ஒரு குடுவையில் தண்ணீர் நிரப்பி அதில் வேர் மட்டும் நனையும்படி போட்டு வைக்கலாம். காய்கறிகளை ஈர துணியில் மூடி வைக்கலாம். இப்படி எத்தனையோ வழிகள் உள்ளது. வாங்கிய பிரிச்சை பாத்திரங்கள், ஜாமான்கள், புத்தகங்கள் வைக்கும் கபோர்டாக பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ளலாம். நாம் இந்த காலத்தில் நம் முன்னோர்கள் வகுத்த வாழ்க்கை முறைகளை மதிக்காமல் பணத்திற்காகவும் ஆடம்பரத்திற்கும் வசதிக்காகவும் பெருமைக்காகவும் மாறியதன் விளைவாக நாம் நம் முழு அடையாளத்தையும், நல்ல விஷயங்களையும் தொலைத்து அனைத்து விதத்திலும் ஏமாற்றப்பட்டு ஆரோக்கியம் நிம்மதி சந்தோசம் வாழ்க்கை ஆகியவற்றை தொலைத்து கஷ்டப்பட்டு வாழ்ந்து கொண்டு இருக்கிறோம் , அனைத்து விதத்திலும் மாற வேண்டிய கட்டாயத்தில் இருக்கிறோம்.அனைத்து விதத்திலும் நம் முன்னோர்கள் கடைபிடித்து வாழ்ந்த வாழ்க்கை முறைகளை மீட்டெடுத்து கடைபிடித்து இயற்கை யோடு இணைந்து வாழ வேண்டும். நம்மை நாம்தான் காப்பாற்றிக் கொள்ள வேண்டும்... வாழ்க வளமுடன்...
