Keep in mind there are no "Ancestrial Lands". Indians were nomadic...adjusting where food sources were and looking for safe places to stay. Yes, the US government removed many Indians from where they were currently settled, but so did Indians themselves do the exact same thing to rival Indian tribes. If a certain tribe wanted to move into a more hospitable region they would run off, kill, and sometimes enslave a weaker tribe that occupied the place. This is the way it was, all over the globe, for thousands of years. Even happens today (see Ukraine for example). So the US government was no worse than what countless indian tribes did themselves!
