One of the best sources of reference material are the Matchbox Catalogs. They are so important that I have them posted on my KZbin channel in full 1080p. Remember, Matchbox web sites are those people's opinions not facts. Whereas, the information in the Matchbox Catalogs are facts. If you are going to collect Matchbox vehicles from a certain time period, you really should invest in the Matchbox Catalogs from that period. The Lesney years are 1953 to 1969 (Regular wheels) and 1970 to 1982 (Superfast Wheels). So, a serious Lesney Matchbox collector will have invested in all of those Matchbox Catalogs.
