I couldn’t make it through the first announcement. I’ve had a 2017 Nissan Murano for seven years with ZERO issues. About to hit 100k miles and with a recent tune up and new tires it drives as smooth as butter - which is a comment that was made to me by someone I recently asked to drive it to run a quick errand for work. “Lack of innovation” to me seems more like “don’t tinker with shit if it’s perfectly fine as is”. They also show a Nissan Pathfinder at 33 seconds in on a clip about the Murano. This channel obviously doesn’t do the work…

Bought my 2019 Murano right before covid hit at the end of January 2020. Almost 4 1/2 years and 72K miles later and it hasn't missed a beat! I couldn't be happier. Haven't made any unexpected trips to the mechanic. I can't even say that for some Hondas and Toyotas I've owned. No turbocharged engine, no direct injection, no start stop or cylinder deactivation. I do have a 15 year or million mile platinum extended warranty that I bought specifically for the tranny.

The Santa Cruz does not have a CVT in any trim level. Base trim and SEL have an 8 speed automatic and the higher trims have a 8 speed DCT. Get it right.

I bought my Maverick for 32K. A Lariat, FX/4. That was 2022. My same truck is 38k. Inflation is out of hand! I friend of mine bought his new F-150 2017 reg. cab. v-8 tow package, locking rear, bed liner light package, power package(windows, locks, cruise etc) for 28K. Inflation is real people. Start protesting!!!!

The Trax may be the least expensive, but one will pay for it in terms of engine reliability, poor quality, inconvenience, and horrible GM service. I'd avoid it.

Far too many advantages for the CX-30. It's going to have a higher OTD price across all trims but you're getting your moneys worth out of it. I would top out at the carbon edition however. Having the turbo option is nice but not necessary. The base 2.5L 191HP engine has plenty to it & is more than enough for most people. Especially compared to the laughable engine the HR-V has across all of its trims.
