Why Atlanta doesn't build high rise 15 story condos and apartments like Chicago to get more density in certain areas. I thought Summer hill was suppose to look more city looking than just that. Atlanta for the most part is building the same 4 story condos everywhere and it's getting boring.

Right past the last light you stopped at in the last minute of filming, on the same street you were driving on is the exact spot where John F. Kennedy was killed. There's an X in the middle of the street that marks the spot.

Not impressed. Stationed there at Pete Field '82-84, not much to do but get drunk, or take a hike. Recently went back '22-'24 & it was like time stood still the last time I left in '84. The infrastructure is still outdated since the last time I left. Have to pay close attention where you're going as they're not really big on fixing their streets or even patching potholes from the last winter. However, they're in the process of playing 'catch up' from the last 40 years or so, and they just voted to become a "sanctuary city", they can't even keep up with the issues they have now let alone the influx of undocumented immigrants headed their way. It ain't what a lot of people claim it to be. It's not even a "nice place to visit" anymore. Just saying from living there.
@TheTravelerRV3 күн бұрын
thank you so much for all the info from the point of view of someone that lives there. I only visit as i have family that live here. it has always kind of felt like an old city to me. like it was caught in the 90s. I guess it makes sense now that you say they still have pretty much the same infrastructure from the 80s. i always enjoy my time here, but im always visiting family to. thanks for stopping by

I'm a native. I LOVE the downtown during Christmas especially walking down Main Street people watching. If you had gone a block further up Commerce from ATT Discovery Zone you would have seen a great place to hang out, The Stadler Hotel and Residents. It is a very eclectic place/high rise with several bars and restaurants, a bar-bowling alley with hotel rooms on the lower floors and apartments above them. It also has a salon, a barber, and a convenience store. It's claim to fame is that Ike and Tina Turner stayed there and where Tina ran out on Ike and never looked back.

Hello from an Ohioan 😊 I used to go to school near there (In fact, I used to drive by Hopkins Airport a lot when I was coming to school and coming home from school when I moved to Brook Park to spend the rest of my high school life 😍) When I went down I-71 for a trip to Brecksville to go play in a park, I saw the skyline coming to the trip and coming back from the trip and it looked cool 😊 I am from North-Central Ohio, so I recognize Lake Erie very well 😍

Dear creators of The Traveler Relaxing Videos. Thanks for making this beautyful video! While searching for image and video to make a music video for my song 'Night Colors' I came across your image Nashville, TN. - 4K HDR - Night Drive. My question is whether I please could use 30 seconds of that to create the atmosphere of a night drive through an illuminated city. In my song I make a link in images and colors with the paintings 'Night Cafe and Starry Night, by the world-famous Dutch painter Vincent van Goch. The song could also be a mood maker during any nighttime drive through town and country. Musical greetings from the Netherlands from Loek Duinmeyer, Loek’s Band

Is it hard to get a job in California? And what do they pay
@TheTravelerRVАй бұрын
im not sure, since im not from Cali. i do know the gig economy like uber, doordash, ect. is saturated and hard to make good money in this area. if you really want to work im sure you can find jobs in Cali, with minimum wage starting at $16 an hour. im sure their is work for people who have an education and looking for work in their field. i would think many of them find jobs before moving their. the one thing life has thought me. is to live where you are most happy. as it is in our nature to make it work out no matter where we live. so i try living where ever makes me happiest. Austin is my favorite city to live in, becuase its more affordable than Cali and just as fun.

As an European its always mindblowing that there are no people on the street in the US… I understand its at night and the weather is bad, but come on! Not one person in a big town like Cleveland? That’s ridiculous and scary kind of!
@TheTravelerRV2 ай бұрын
A lot of it has to do with how dependent the US is on cars. Everyone has to own a car to get around in the States, our infrastructure wasnt built to be friendly for people to get around by walking. So everyone drives everywhere here, even if its just to the corner store.
@Akrus152 ай бұрын
@@TheTravelerRV I get that for the suburbs but in a big town you would assume that in the city center there would be still some people in front of restaurants, hotels, bars etc. I personally find it kinda disturbing to see no people between skyscrapers 😅

Hello With which video camera do you film, because the image is of very good quality at night?
@TheTravelerRV2 ай бұрын
Its not the camera, but more with the setting. Now days pretty much any DSLR/vlog camera can take good night footage. its all about keeping the camera ISO level low. So you dont create unwanted noise. hope this helps.
