hi! i look up to this video as an architect student. in terms of construction, how does the facade connect to the building/wall? is it a type of standalone structure?

@@eliysaidris4952 one idea would be to make this as prefab units and fix on to the structure. It will not be standalone.

Its made using 'Follow me' tool. It's in the tools menu or you can get it trom large tool set.

It is definitely possible to create the facade in sketchup. Except for the part where the pattern bends into a elliptical window. It will be tough but should be possible 😀

In sketchup, Ruby console is a space for experimenting commands and API access. I don't know about blender, want to learn it someday.

The Hide command. I assigned 'ctrl H' as shortcut for this. Keyboard shortcuts can assigned from Windows/Preferences/Shortcuts.
