I say Ice Rink all the way when you can. I dig the venue. The acoustics.

Mhm progressive pull design can make sense. Particularly a lever setup where at rest, advantage is low and they can make the distance, but at rim contact, advantage is high and they can apply force. Regardless of how well they can work, they're too much of a faff, making me want to yeet them for V-brake.

My wife and I were in the street, trying to see this act that had drawn such a massive crowd. Couldn’t see you, but loved the sound and vibe. Thanks for the video!!!

I think I own copies of half of the tunes you picked. Nice one with the Stranglers! On another note, I ride bicycles and I know those roads pretty well from driving on them, as I frequently visit inyo NF. However, trying to get air climbng on a bike from 7-10k feet sounds pertty darned hard. Did anyone have altitude issues, or maybe sleeping down at 7k (Lee Vining) mitigated that? That looked like a ton of fun.

It's a tough ride for sure, over 15,000 ft of climbing on the first day. Good high-octane music certainly helps when the air thins!

I did this for a pair of Infinity speakers. This is a messy, arduous, and somewhat dangerous process (razor knife) which looks a lot easier on videos. I love the idea of bringing a damaged loudspeaker back to life, but know what you're getting in to. By the way, I did all this only to find one of the woofers on the pair of speakers was dead!

The v brake anayizing is simple, just uaing the full length as long arm and using the the brake pad position as the short arm, and long arm length divided by short arm length is the leverage ratio.

They are the best brakes in snow+ice conditions because of their simplicity. They are easy to wipe off and make functional. They are the best brakes period. Every other system is more trouble. We use to call them center pull in the 80s. For the avg Joe, there was only side pull and center pull.

I did this to my jbl l-60t speakers. After non usage for about 20 years they sounded really bad. Nearly all of the foam had disintegrated. It was one of the most satisfying diy project ever.... because it really made a huge difference (ie back from the dead). I just went very slow at each step. If you think you might run out of the provided glue you can use Aleene's Original Quick Set Tacky Glue. It's cheap and sold everywhere.
