For the price point I think it's amazing, a possible game-changer for the market. The one thing I am wondering about is fhe durability of the worm gear.. yes I am sure it's rugged, but have you considered dual worms to strength and minimize wear? Just a suggestion 👍
@cmpattachmentsllc2 күн бұрын
We appreciate it! We'll monitor the durability, it's a fair concern-- we're using the best components we can get out hands on, so they should hold up 💪

Does the grapple have locking valves so it doesn't lose grip pressure during operation?

This is a really good demo of the capabilities. Do you ever still put on a normal digging bucket?
@cmpattachmentsllc6 күн бұрын
So the grapple is one unit, this isn't a tiltrotator with quick couplers-- you may have known that and just wondered how often guys pin on a bucket once they have a grapple-- much more rarely as far as we've heard. The Hydra Grapple can dig really well, of course there are applications where you need to really hog dirt or grade and then you'll need a bucket, but the grapple gets stuff like this done really easily.

We've done some prototypes and it's still on the table. We want something that's the best in the industry if we launch one, so we'll need to do more testing, but it's on the list.

the right thumb is for what function sir?and left is for rotating?
@cmpattachmentsllcАй бұрын
You're right stick will run both functions, clamp and rotate. The left stick has the button that diverts the oil to one or the other and determines which function that right stick is performing, it can only do one at a time. So if the button is not pressed, the grapple will clamp. If it is pressed, the grapple will rotate.

Could you set up a grading beam to attach to the bucket, in some sort of quick-attach style, so you don't need to unbolt the bucket and bolt the grading beam on. Just a thought, unfortunately they will all be too large for my machine but I like this design. Have a good one!!👍
@cmpattachmentsllc2 ай бұрын
Sorry for the slow response Stephen, we missed this-- You definitely could rig something like that up, very cool idea. What size machine are you running, a 4K pounder?
@velez9102 ай бұрын
I wanna see it on a tracktor. I know kioti and bad boy have same attachment style as skid loaders and have hydraulics to run it. Sounds like a good idea for marketing to open it up to more customers. I only found this because I was specifically looking for skid loader power rakes
@cmpattachmentsllc2 ай бұрын
It would be really cool on a tractor loader, the bummer is tractors don't have the hydraulic cooling capability for the front auxiliary to maintain temperature when running a continuous flow attachment like this, so they won't work on tractors unless you have a custom hydraulic system.

it sound weird in my head you use that for aerate and decompact the grass but you pass with a heavy skid steer on them ?
@cmpattachmentsllc4 ай бұрын
It's a niche application, definitely not for fragile ground. While the floatation of a skid disperses pretty well, it's for aerating large areas of ground that can afford to be tracked on with a skid. So no to golf courses, but yes to parks, campgrounds, city lots, etc.

By far, my 36" CMP HB is the most labor saving attachment, especially in clay dirt ... It also has the highest visuals impact after a project... If you have had a pool built in your back yard, you know what I am talking about... Final clean-up and grade... It forms, shapes and finishes a backyard... I run the SCL-1000... One can pick up how to do things with it quick... You do have to have used it for a good while to become proficient with it... I am still amazed sometime at of the work I still do with it... When I turn off the machine and look at the final results, I'm like "How in the world did I do that"... A two man crew in 4 to 6 hours, do a clean-up and final grade, Thanks Mr. D
