I do not speak French and I do apologize if this finds you too late or maybe will not get answered. I am currently working on family genology for myself and children. I have found out that my third generation on my mother's side had/has the last name of Biddix. From what I understand the name originates in Picardie. I was wondering if possibly you could point me in a direction on whether this is true or not and if maybe there are and living Biddix's I could possibly contact. Thank you.

Belle maîtrise de Google Earth Studio permettant de telles évolutions (au prix de nombreux points clés). Mes essais via Google Earth Pro sont un peu décevants du fait de certaines zones de détails se révélant par paquets (connexion trop lente ou défaut intrinsèque ?). En tous cas ici tout est parfait.

Merci pour vos commentaires. L'expertise vient en pratiquant. L'idéal est de structurer des déplacements lents qui sont plus immersifs et plus aisés à gérer par le processeur de votre ordinateur en relation avec la quantitéé de mémoire vive (RAM) dont il est doté.

Magnifique et tres bien fait, J.R.! You put a lot of love and detail information in this video! I like the slow speed - often it is much too fast to really see the details. For some close-ups you are too close for the textures to look good, but a little furter away it really looks like a drone flight over Venice! I guess you already used the high-res textures of Google Earth - a pitty that they dont have a better resolution for cities like Venice.

Thanks Rilo for your nice comment. Venice is for me a mythic city because of the architecture and moreover because of Montreverdi and Vivaldi. Unfortunatly Google Earth does not give high-res for every place on the planet but we have alot to experiment. The challange is not to fly to low and to high which is not always easy. There are some places like Paris, NY, London, the Vatican where one can see plenty of details. This is a young technology and it will improve. I am working on different project. Bonjour. Vous allez trouver chez un revendeur de GoPro ou de DJI Osmo Action, de petites pièces servant à faire des montages. Soit dit en passant tout est compatibles entre les deux types de caméras même si elle compétitionnent. La DJI Osmo Action utilise très bien les pièces de la GoPro. Or parmi les pièces, il existe une pièce qui est conçue pour adhérer au matériel lisse d'un casque de vélo. Je vous avais préparé une image montrant toutes les possibilités mais je ne puis acheminer d'image en attache de ce message; et je n'ai pas votre email.

Really very beautiful - have to go there once! Very informative with all the text infos! What video editing software do you use? I see you use some kind of DOF-effect (depth of field) - the foreground is in focus whereas the background is slightly out of focus - which is more natural to the human eye. I dont see any feature in GES to apply DOF. It would be very helpful to generate a kind of depth-mask to apply the effect in AE. Can you tell how you achieved that, please?

Non, Google Earth est une capture d'image satellitaire continuellement remise à niveau mais dans des régions terrestres différentes de foi en foi; dit autrement, tout n'est pas synchronisé en même temps et il y a des régions dont la qualité de la définition est favorisée. Ce sont en général les grandes villes ou zones terrestres d'importance. Je vous suggère d'utiliser le site Google Earth Studio en utilisant le navigateur Google Chrome.

Cette vidéo a déjà 7 ans; elle se fait vieillotte. Je co pte rajeunir ça avec les capacités dont on dispose. Je précise ici que la section météo est en temps réel mais il faut descendre sous les nuages pour le constater.

Hi, I just saw your question. I do everything in post in Apple Final Cut Pro and then I pass the clip to Compressor then save it as a mp4 format. I prefer HD 1080p at 60 fps. With the settings i obtain smooth rendering as you see. Goof luck. See also bit.ly/JRGoogleEarthStudio

Your videos are very nicely done. As a VR freak myself with an Oculus Rift and Google Earth VR I've found many hundreds of places around the world that are spectacular. I categorize and list them all by both type of thing and location (country and town) on 6 separate listings in Notepad ++. For just one of many examples, I've found 23 of the world's top ski jumps which have been captured in 3D textures. Those are always fun to go down in VR. My favorite thing is simulating rides on cable cars, cog wheel trains, and ski lifts at some of the top locations in the world. I only do places with 3D textures (photogrammetry capture). When and if Microsoft's new forthcoming flight simulator 2020 goes to VR (which they think it eventually will) it is going to be mind boggling because they include total weather (including real world), complete night lighting, moving vehicles on roads, seasons, and trillions of supplemental vegetation objects, all cloud delivered and using extensive use of AI. Google is going to have to play "catch up" before long because their system will be using photogrammetry and AI too, very extensively.They are recommending a 50 mb minimum cable delivery system for it. It goes to beta in July which means it is not far away from release. I'm guessing MS has at least 100 million dollars in it since it has been over 5 years in top secret development in France in a large software house. You have to spend big bucks to make big bucks in this kind of thing today. After a PC release an X-Box version is coming.
