I think the "new" RB you are referring to is Blake Corum. Definitely could affect the opener if he's used enough, but that is a big if in the LAR offense historically. A full game from Kyren W. in itself could make a difference, though. He was starting to roll in the 4th Q of that playoff game before he got injured. Funny how all the sims I've seen on YT take it down to the wire which is reasonable, but relatively low-scoring. Both teams have revamped secondary units & it's game one. Could easily be a track meet, imo.

In my opinion there's no way either team is scoring over 25 points on the other's defense. In 2023 Notre Dame's overall defense was number 5 in the country while A&M was ranked 19, and will get tons better under Elko.
