Hi. I’m having an issue with my bypass. Everytime I disconnect the ground the car won’t start. It just clicks and like a dead battery. But when I reconnect the smaller ground it will start no problem. I had the same problem earlier and I took it to autozone to have my main battery checked and they say it’s good and needs to recharge. I pick it up and connect it with the bypass and it just click and act light a dead battery. But when I reconnect the he smaller ground back on it fire up like no issue. I’m pretty sure my aux battery is bad. But don’t know why it won’t start with the aux ground disconnected. I did try with and without fuse in and it fine. Just the ground. Any suggestions or takes in my issues? I am wondering if it’s because the main ground it on the 13mm and the ring is bigger then the small 10mm and it’s not getting a good ground? But I see your video and I did exactly the same way and just out the ground right onto the 10mm nut.

The problem im having is that the panel cluster its completely off. Everything else works but this morning the jeep wouldn't crank idk if its the auxiliary battery that is draining the main battery! But dont know if the auxiliary battery it's responsible for the panel cluster problem.

First, If its still under warranrty take it to the dealer and have them check the aux battery and they will tell you if that's the problem. If the aux battery is faulty that will make you cluster act up.

Do you remember what code you were getting? I had the same issue (p0441) then I changed my canister and valve but now I’m getting p0443. I used a mopar valve too and it’s driving me insane
@FAFOWeekendAdventuresАй бұрын
The P0443 code is an OBDII trouble code that indicates a problem with the evaporative emissions system (EVAP system) purge control valve circuit. This code can be triggered by any fault in the circuit, including: An open circuit, A short to ground or voltage, A damaged or blocked purge valve, and A faulty PCM
@averagejoe5143Ай бұрын
Thats normal. Worry when there is drive shaft vibration, whining when accelerating or coasting. Some gears you buy are lapped in and some are not. Gear sets that are not will typically have more metal stuck to the magnet. Keep in mind there is no oil pump or filter system. Like most manual transmissions. If you worry about differential problems you should watch the video from Gale Banks on aftermarket covers.

I know this is off topic, but how do you insure your Casita. I believe some companies only cover them if they are hook-up to your vehicle, if and when an accident happens and may have limits far lower than the value of your trailer. A video on the ins and outs of properly insuring one would make a great video and where to get repaired.
@FAFOWeekendAdventuresАй бұрын
I have our Casita covered under National General Insurance. If your interested here is the contact info: Overland Insurance Services 800-677-4027. Ours is covered fully at full replacement cost. I don't know and wouldnt trust it being covered while hooked up to the vehicle, what happens if it unhooks going down the road or a storm destroys it while at a camp site and its not hooked up to your vehicle. I have the piece of mind that if its parked somewhere, if someone steals it or it get destroyed by weather that its covered, that my thought. Making a video of properly insuring the RV and where to make repairs sound like a good idea, I would have to do some research first so that I can put out correct information. Thank you for the idea and stay tune for more videos. Thanks for watching.
