I don't find QM2 "confusing" at all. The decks are numbered upwards from Deck 1 to Deck 13. Just as in a building on land. How is that "confusing" If you want confusing try QE2 where the decks were numbered downwards; the lower you went, the higher the number... now that was just stupid.

Thanks! 😊 It was just the smell from the Casino during the evening that was a bit if a downside. Perhaps not a problem if a deck or 2 higher.

We booked early onto the Bolette with an inside cabin. The operator assured us the price wouldn't drop. It did though. Twice I called up each time to see what they could do. They won't refund the difference but they will upgrade you to a cabin that is at the price you original paid. Eventually we ended up with an Ocean View. Not been on the cruise yet but it's exciting to get a sneak peek at the kind of room we'll get. One question. On the Freddy O website it says the Ocean Views are about 30ft² bigger than the inside cabins. I'm assuming you've been in both types, so can you confirm that? At the same 10 feet wide you should be getting an extra 3 feet of length. (Stop sniggering)

@@breadyegg thanks for your message. We have not stayed in an Inside cabin on Bolette. However looking at the deck plans the outside cabins do look a little longer. I do remember it being a long cabin.

Fab tour! We’re impressed with the bathroom. It’s a really good size and no shower curtain 😀 overall it’s not a bad cabin

Thanks ☺️. The only main issue is the shower door does not seal so the water leaks out if shower head not directed away. We did make a bit of a puddle the first time 🤦♀️

Thanks for your feedback. We did record slower but it felt like the video was too long so took the decision to speed up to provide an impression of the ship. This hopefully keeps some surprises for anyone stepping onboard Queen Anne. We will bear this in mind for future content 😌

The pool is big enough for a few laps, however an afternoon in the sun made it very hot 🥵. It really was a fabulous cruise, definitely made by the crew.

It’s not the deepest balcony and yes it’s only a small table. You could probably move the table from the lounge area to give more room. We always wondered to the Arts Cafe for breakfast.

No there was no noise from the lift. This was a concern before we got onboard, however we had nothing to worry about. It ended up being the perfect suite for us.

It was lovely I think because we were in yacht club. Peace and relaxation was required at this stage of Ali’s recovery. It was very busy with queues at bars around the rest of the ship.

Did you not go to the specialty restaurants? Colours & Tastes is spectacular and Vasco's is up there. Also, theres a small casino on Deck 5 with 8 gambling tables and 115 slots.

There's no balcony cabins onto the promenade deck, they're called terrace cabins. Naturally opening onto the deck you won't get a private area as with a balcony since the deck wraps around the ship so is a public thoroughfare. You do get reserved deckchairs for your own use though.

Hi, we did not hear our neighbours for the duration of the cruise. We do like to have some background music on so the cabin is not silent. No not cabins have connecting doors. They are marked on the deck plans which cabins connect. If you book through a travel agent they should be able to book a specific room for you. Hope this helps.

I can’t believe we haven’t watched this video yet! This is a great cabin. The bathroom is a good size, the cabin and storage is great and the balcony is good too. The fact that it’s in YC is the cherry on top!

We were on this cruise and had a fantastic time. Waking up anchored off of Monte Carlo was special. This years Grand Prix cruise is docking in Nice and providing transport to the Grand Prix. I don't think that would be anywhere near the experience that we had. This was our second Azamara cruise both have been amazing. So we have booked a third with Azamara this year to Iceland.

Absolutely agree the cruise was amazing. Loved sitting at the back of the ship and watching all the boats and helicopters. Azamara was a fab experience. We have Silversea next, looking forward to the comparison. We would definitely go back on Azamara, have a fab time in Iceland

Azamara was lovely and very much a focus on luxury & food. They are one of a couple of cruise lines that have an itinerary that includes the Monaco Grand Prix. We found it a really cost effective way to be there. Mark got his tickets for the race as a ship excursion and it was reasonably priced for the seat location. If you have any questions, just shout 😊

Thanks for your review. I've never been on a cruise, so, all or nothing, I've booked a 27 night cruise on the Bollette next year to North-east Canada, Greenland and Iceland. Not known ever to be seasick and I'm travelling alone so I'm hoping for a nice, comfortable time with good service, comfort, some entertainment and a lot of peace and quiet. From your review, the Bollette sounds just about right.

Good review, my opinions on Bolette exactly. The only thing that spoilt it for me was the heat on board, too warm for me.

Thanks for your comments. We have stated to cruise with a little usb fan and a portable fan. Does help if the cabin gets too hot.

We did our first ever cruise last month on Borealis to the Fjords. Scenery was phenomenal. Ship, food, crew/service faultless. Have already booked again for next year. Well and truly bitten by the cruising bug now and certainly FO 🚢 Great video. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Bolette

Hi peeps. I have just booked with FOC and am looking forword to it. First time with them for us. We have over 70+ cruises under our belt but never fancied FOCL until now. I would of liked to of heard more about the drinks package in your video "ie" can's and bottles inc' etc and are they in pool bar but all in in all a good video I enjoyed.

More information can be found online about the drinks package www.fredolsencruises.com/cruising-information/drinks-upgrade Disappointingly it does not include specialty coffees and only cocktail / mocktail of the day. Soft drinks are all draft and from I can remember so are the beers. One thing we did like was if you have a drink that’s not included it is 50% off. We did not have any issues getting drinks on the package at any bar including pool bar. We really enjoyed our FOCL experience.

Only thing missing is a view of the outlets and USB ports in the cabin. Thanks for the video! I will be on the Pursuit Aug 7. for Iceland Intensive and have a balcony cabin booked. I'm sure the bathroom is just as small!

Hi, thanks for your comments. There are USB ports under both bedside lights, which are very convenient. There are European and US outlets by the desk. It’s a good cabin for power supplies.
