@@Vladoiu97 It's hard to say. Maybe Gothic 3 with mods, Risen 2, or Neverwinter Nights 1 or 2. Your series with Gothic 2 NotR is great, so whatever you choose will definitely be at the same level.

I've tried sprinting, but sprinting doesn't work for some reason. If I hold down left shift, my character is only walking. Do I have to change a specific settings menu for the keys, or ?

That's odd... You can map that key to anything you want by going to "Options > Controls" and the bottom one should say "Sprint"

Yes this is L'Hiver 1.6. Do you also have the DX11 Renderer? It is recommended by L'Hiver 1.6 as a shader as it improves lightning/shadows/graphics and so on

Did you ever go to the other island? I went there but kept getting the 'sea monster' cutscene - stopping me from exploring it fully...

Hi, Yes, I did. I have not found an official fix but you can do it by enabling Marvin mode (you don't have to cheat or anything you just enable it). By typing BMARVINB you will enable Marvin mode and the sea monster thingy won't kill you. You'll just get some messages saying "Piranhas are watching you...", etc. There also be other parts of the island which are added by the mod which will trigger the "sea monster" scene. I usually just enable Marvin Mode and after I'm done with that part I disable it by pressing B42B Let me know if it works for you or if you found another workaround, thanks!

@@komplaints7893 Hi! No problem bro, ask anything you want I'm here to help. So this mod has a "quickslot" feature meaning if you're on your inventory and hover over any item and press 1 it will equip it in the quickslot. To use the item in quickslot 1 you have to press F1. So basically this goes from 1 to 8 to equip and F1-F8 to use. So I just found out during this playthrough that if for example I equip the 2 hander in quickslot 1 and the shield in quickslot 2, then equip them by pressing F1 and F2 it just works. Sometimes, equipping both 2 hander and shield does not work but for the most part it did. You can also equip healing potions etc. Remember the installation guide I sent you? docs.google.com/document/d/1eunJYhcPjQhQu9hECoBFpJfm6jBG1Pkt3em18mpGor0/edit?pli=1 If you scroll down you will see all the plugins and what they do, there's very useful information in there including this quickslot thing. You can also loot all the items/chests/corpses etc with right click so you can skip the animation or press T for a quick torch. Press P to switch between arrow types (regular, fire, magic, blunt, etc.) Also keep in mind that if you cannot beat an enemy a certain way, they should always have a weakness (for example skeletons take much more damage from blunt weapons and arrows). Just try whatever crosses your mind

Hi, I've made a .ZIP file containing all the updated installers needed since these are scattered all over the internet and I forgot the links for each of them Download the installers from here: mega.nz/file/EfUg1QbZ#OzT-Gv0cKMWUPJMLOGv8LHmhhYHnM4bwOrlDeWCQ0Jg And follow this guide, it is the official one: docs.google.com/document/d/1eunJYhcPjQhQu9hECoBFpJfm6jBG1Pkt3em18mpGor0/edit?pli=1 Regarding the last step which is "[Optional] DX11_Renderer installer (.exe file)", the installation will be a bit different. Instead of using the .exe file there will be a folder called "GD3D11-v17.8-dev9". It's contents need to be copied in the "system" folder of the game in the install path. For Steam version you should copy the contents here: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Gothic II\system" If you encounter issues contact me on Discord at miiih97 and I will help you

Classic G2 thumbnail. I hope the english dub is as good as the german. I just played a huge G2 total conversion mod, it looks like shit, the controls are bad, yet I still love this game.

I heard many people saying that the german voice acting is really good (I don’t doubt that and I wish I could experience it that way) and that the english one is shit but I simply find it amazing, not sure if it is because of nostalgia. I think graphics are acceptable with the L’Hiver mod. As for controls, I do keyboard+mouse as I don’t really like the G1 ones. Even though most people say “yOu ArE sUpPoSeD tO pLaY kEyBoArD oNlY”, I think everyone should play however they find it enjoyable and experience what this game has to offer in any way.

I skipped through the video and the bits of english voice acting I heard sounded very good tbh. Keyboard only sounds like hell, I dont know who in their right mind would want that. But to each their own, lol. And as far as graphics go, yeah, you are right. I just overemphasized a bit. Saying how shit (mainly age related) some parts of the game are just makes me appreciate even more how much I enjoy playing it. It just feels so "alive" the sound and world design are top notch. The love for detail is second to none. There is for sure some nostalgia in the mix, but this game (for me) is timeless. Have fun playing it again bro. @@Vladoiu97
