I play over 55 walking football and one of our eldest players is 82 and he’d give men half his age a game.

The day after, 9 of these players did a full 90 minute 11 a side game, running and all. On the pitch were 14 over 60s and of them 5 over 65s, we are so lucky !

I'm 70 this year, I do 2 seven a sides a week. I'm lucky I suppose that during my football journey, (from primary school until now), I've been lucky with injuries. However...this type of game,(I'm not knocking it, I know people who play it), is not for me, as I'm still fit enough to play with the 'kids'. Maybe one day...
