one of my favorite NES game, btw i really thought this was going to be the nes version since the thumbnail is the famicom cover. But the arcade version has that certain charm to it and i don't hate it at all.

This game was super awesome. Similar to "Knight of the Round", just more D&D style, heheh. But I'll never get over seeing "CLE1", "FIG2", and "WIZ3", etc. Some of those 3-letter shortcuts were pretty hilarious. And it's true that it would have been much cooler all five classes actually had some seriously distinct differences, but I believe they were simply cosmetic for the most part.

Honestly I'd be quite entertained by a remake of Quake 1 that implies connections of literally every Quake character/subuniverses. Like it's still it's own game, but acknowledges it's heritage of different universes.
